Tonight at my school was middle school band night where middle schoolers join in with the marching band, and I attended. Free pizza, free entry to the game, and reserved seating! IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!
I could provide you with a wall of text, but I know everyone hates that. But I do know that when I'm in High School, I'm gonna be in the marching band!!!

Woo-Hoo Rock On! I teach the Front Ensemble at Fountain Fort Carson HS. We are having our middle school band night in a couple of days. I did middle school band night when I lived in Texas and It was so much fun!

we had our middle school night a couple of weeks ago. The middle school people are so cute! I remember my band night, I was afraid of all the seniors and I thought it was amazing that they remembered their music.
I loved band night this year, it's always mucho fun, but I'm sure we scared them because our band loves to cheer along with cheerleaders, especially "let's get a little bit rowdy..."

yes, we had middle school night 2 weeks ago. there was so many people, we went from a 1A band to about a 3A one!! eek the middle schoolers weren't that good though. especially all of my new flutes, oh jeez, they couldnt keep their flutes up and one guy actually played on his shoulder!! crying but we did get free pizza, and it was still fun to have a big band! biggrin
