Hello fellow vassals! I would like to talk to those who are in ownership of a PSP. I realize that the system isn't quite as great as it could potentially be, but I am trying to support Nippon Ichi in their decision to port the Disgaea title to the PSP.
I believe that this may give people who are unable to find the first one a opportunity to play this wonderful game. With the cult sucess of the first title I think the game could do really well, and If it does it could also give NIS the morale boost to release other, better titles for the PSP, or perhaps bring other ports to the PSP.
As much as I like Idea Factory, their titles have been met with a lot of rightful adversity on the system. Generations of Chaos is virtually unplayable, the text scrolls far too slow, and the gameplay is boring and incomplete. Spectral Souls has a wonderful storyline, some very interesting battle mechanics, but unfortunately falls flat on it's bottom due to the dreaded "Disc Access".
Anyhoo to get back on topic, If anyone has any thoughts or ideas on this subject or would just like to express their interest, Please feel free to post. Also If you are excited about this game then I would like to encourage you to place your votes into the "Pram's Wishlist" portions of NISAmerica's website. I would also like to inform all who post on this that I will be sending this link to NISAmerica so that they can review the feedback.

Yes, they must have Disgaea on PSP in America x__X Even if I already own the first game, I would love to play it on my PSP and be able to go places with it. I also had my Disgaea file corrupted on my PS2, so I don't really mind re-playing it over. So yes, Disgaea 2 on PSP in America please <3 3nodding

I doubt anything beyond disgaea will be released... My sorces tell me that their iffy on comitting to the PSP. TH only reason that they chose PS2 for the other games is that it was the most widely owned system. THey are actually heavily considering the DS as it is FAR more widely owned than the PSP. But Disgaea was rereleased, and I would love to have it, it might actually make me get a PSP...

DS or PSP - a portable Disgaea would make me get either system. I'd love to play N1 games 'on the go'.

I this gets to America I might have to rely on a Friend who has a PSP... He's a Fan of disgaea too; and also a fan of Etna. BTW; there are pics around there where it shows Adell and Rozalin (from Disgaea 2). They look like Extra bosses (just like Priere and Marjoly). Disgaea Portable Link

Kukuku, I'm so lucky that NIS made games with the Sony systems or I would have screwed (because I have no other game systems except the PS2 and PSP currently) :>

Yeah, but so far the rest of the PSP's line up is less than exciting with very few exceptions.
