Okay. So. My director and I have always been kinda shaky, she's known me since I was 7 and took piano lessons and FINALLY got my name right while she was introducing me for a small group choir thing at a church. Didn't help that I quit piano after 2 years (midway through level 4)... and now?

So, apparently I was supposed to sing in the Choir Festival (used to be conference honor choir but it's not exactly GOOD, in any sense of the word, because most of the directors pick by senority instead of if they can even sing at all) for our school's number (all the songs are together except some schools pick a song to do as a smaller group) but she NEVER told me. The day came, and I even asked someone who was supposed to do the same thing I was- she said I probably wasn't needed because they always have too many soprano 1's. So, I went home.

Apparently my director was really mad that I didn't show up when I was 'supposed' to. And she hasn't said a word to me since.

This is why you always ask your director things if you wanna know the details before you just walk off. 3nodding
