Come here and discuss with as much detail as you can on how you plan to get your Wii!
For me, it involves getting the extra $80 I require to afford it through allowance, babysitting, and sending in my invoice to my job area thingy (the local liqour store mrgreen ). Then, on November 18th, I go to town (a 45 minute drive away) with a few friends, several bottles of Bawls, my DS, and a stack of games I never play anymore to trade in for store credit. I spend the night outside of EB Games with my friends and anyone else whos lined up, and we chat, play WiFi DS games, trade pokemon cards (that parts a joke), and basically just nerd it up in public. Then, when the store opens, we all rush inside, battling furiously for the right to have the first Wii from EB Games.
Ah, it will be sweet mrgreen

I will walk in on the 19th, assuming gamecrazy doesn't have a midnight launch, and pick upmy pre-order with Zelda, and proceed to go home.
My Wii is entirely paid off ^^
can i make a suggestion? trade those games in early, it will save you that much more time. and with so many people wanting it, GS might not even take trade ins at midnight, might be something to ask before you go ahead with that.

mh... I suppose I probably should trade my games early... dont want to make a bunch of people wait behind me after all (yeesh, Id get a knife in my neck wouldnt I xp )

On november 17th start camping outside of EBGames when I finnaly get I'n Pile drive any punk who try's to get the Wii before Mii. Haha pun!

if I have to go to the Wii launch I'll ninja-kick anyone who gets in my way! I'll break bones and go berzerk! and if someone tries to get me, think Reptile's sneak attack on Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks! and if you didnt see that cinematic on Youtube, Reptile bit into Johnny's head!
I'll be all up in this s**t like Scorpion! I may need to bring a weapon if things get hairy... nah, I got my ninja skills. ^__^ thats good enough, and if I dont get one on Christmas, I'll just have to wait until later to get one. ^_^

well well well ill just go to wal mart in a little hick town where no one is a gamer but 3 people and assuming that wal mart is going to carry 20 i think ill get one hey its an effective plan thats how my bro got halo 2 and i hate him for being an x-box lover but he waited and only 5 people where ther either that or me my friend tracy and his bro will camp out and make fun of the people for buying a ps3 as we play our DS's and read dragon lance

((My friend and I both have money for a Wii and Twilight Princess (I'm getting it for Wii, and he's getting it for GameCube, even though he is getting a Wii). He's staying the night at my house, and at 11:30 p.m. we are going to our Game Store to wait till Midnight when they release it, and Twilight Princess. We already worked out all the fine detales, and his mom will make sure we both are in line to get one (LOL). November 19th has officially been named "The Day of Revelution".))

nice plans, I think it would be beneficial to drop by a hick town to evade much chaos, but after the Xbox360 thing, I think a lot of people are gonna be crowding those places too.
thats why if I ever go to a place during a console launch I'll have to get in the mindset to beat someones sorry a**! people went berzerk when there were Mighty Morphin Power Ranger figures available, they went berzerk for Cabage patch kids, they went ICP for the NES and the N64 was a big holiday item. I'm damn sure people are gonna be goin ******** ******** crazy for Wii!
I can already see someone brings amonkey that throws it's s**t at other people so it's master can get a Wii.
someone would probably use self defense items to get a Wii. then again, Wii will be the most saught after item since any christmas item.
I swear, if anime characters could jumput of TV, DVDs, and VHS, they'd all go crazy for Wii! probably go Ultimate Showdown on eachother to get a Wii.
Jiraiya standing atop the Naruto heap with bloodstained hair maybe(before Tsunade punches him 3 towns away).
Goku and Vegeta blowing up PS3's just to get their hands on a Wii.
Heero Yuy shooting people and after aquireing a Wii would likely say "mission complete" or go suicide if he cant get one at launch.
I can see Sailor Jupiter electrocuting even herown friends to nab one, or just busting people over her knees and fierce strength... I'd pay to see her kick someones a** in person, and then I'd work my way in her heart. ^_^(I'm a geek, I know, I'm pathetic!)
