We close our eyes while we look to the sky.
What holds up the stars begins to shake.
We smile and laugh as they begin to fall.
I look at you, in tears, and wonder why.
What do I have to do? What will it take?
This isn't fair, it makes no sense at all.
The pain is gone now, I no longer cry.
I haven't looked back, you were only a fake.
I'll always walk, and never crawl.
The pain came back, I mourned your loss.
Why can't we find pleasure? Is the world only pain?
I just have to ask; why are people so unkind?
It took me awhile, but I know I'm the boss.
I'm the only loon in a world of the sane.
So I accept my kingdom, made up of the blind.
I'm sorry you read this to your own loss,
but my faith in what's real is beggining to wane.
This is a pointless lament on the loss of my mind.
