The currently wingless female strode alongside her mate with at least two of their also currently wingless three cubs tailing along in between and slightly behind. Of course, Chamchela had complained a great deal after a while, asking why they had to WAAALK all the way to the pridelands when they could just FLY. Couldn't Ororo have just waited back home? How long were they going to be gone ANYWAY and WHY did they have to tag along?

There was just no way that Kiva was going to trust Chamchela alone with the pride, let alone just Ororo and Mteuli. Her wild streak was far too wide to trust her not to walk all over them......... or fly circles all around them.

Right now the little whirlwind was sleeping in Kiva's jaws, the disquised godling worn out from a long journey. They'd been traveling for days, almost a full week. Finally Pride Rock was coming into view, but there was hardly the usual amount of cheer and joy bundled within the goddess of Unity as they laid eyes on the great monument, stepping beyond the border. Kiva knew in the dead of night, despite being miles away. She'd felt the break in the bond between the kindly king and his family. Of course they set out immediately, Kiva's concern for her dear friend overwhelming all other priority right then. However, on the journey the Pridelands and the heiress suffered yet another devastating blow. The queen had passed before they got there. Kamilika's parents had passed, and the loss was surely a painful one for any that knew the pair...

Kiva had only met Mufasa, but felt as if her heart was breaking just by the idea of his death.

Kamilika...?

Devunde was a very unhappy godling at the moment. He had been all week, his dark scowl present on his face. Had his wings and tail not been cloaked by Kiva's magic they would have shown a deep shade of dark gray. It wasn't the trip that upset him, nor where they were going. It was the fact that he was utterly banned from flying right now. He was connected with the sky very strongly through his domain-to be cut off from it was torture and made him a very irratatable boy. He was silent most of the trip, trudging along beside his mother on the side away from Oro.

Black striped ears swivled and flickered as Ororo padded beside his mate and between their handful of cubs. He knew that the trip would have been much quicker if only he had wings like Kiva and the cubs but, unfortunately he wasn't blessed in the aspect of flight. Yet for his goddess and her cubs to travel on foot and allow him to accompany them had made his heart swell!

He had only once traveled outside of the Pridelands but never, oh never, had he ever ventured as far into the plains where Pride Rock resided- towering over the lands as a monument where the great kings had resided since anyone could remember. As ocher eyes gazed upwards in pure awe, Ororo'Lisani shook his head.

"So this is Pride Rock," he whispered softly, tail swaying behind him as he continued drifting forwards in a daze-like state. "Never thought I'd actually see it."

Knowing that they had reaced their destination after almost a full weeks travel, the weariness of such a great journey was slightly taking the young adolescent hostage. But they had arrrived in the Pridelands as, Ororo figured, there was business and ties of friendship to strengthen and reestablish amongst the Pride and the goddess. Especially since the passing of the great king, Mufasa, Lisani knew that he could offer what support he could as well as be an anchor and stay by his mates side while she too would be enduring the longing pains of missing a dear friend and a great king.

Standing beside the goddess, Ororo'Lisani brushed against her and rumbled soothingly as he waited for anyone to greet or approach them. As a foreigner to these lands, the young adolescent knew not what to expect and, for now, he'd keep low.

((Only 11 days belated. >.> *shall keep much more up to date with this now*))

-Distraught wasn't even half of what Kami felt, as she laid curled within the royal den, drowning in the scent of her parents.. both of which were gone. Never to be seen again.

Why had her father lied to her? He'd told her that he was going to be fine. Why had she been so stupid to not see he was lying? Why hadn't she tried harder to keep her mother alive? If only she'd been able to care for her more.. love her more.. Maybe she wouldn't be alone.

Curling her head tightly beneath her paws she tried to drown out the sound of the thoughts that tormented her. Only to hear something else. Something familar that made her head snap up.

Kiva? That was Kiva's voice that tugged at her heart. Just as it had when she came to visit before. Lifting herself from the ground, she wobbled softly, before catching her balance, and heading quickly out into the sunlight.

The golden light burned her eyes, be she strained against it, looking out across the savannah for that familar figure.-

They were closer by now, but Kiva still had to strain a little bit to see her, but there she was, exiting the dens atop of Pride Rock in the distance. At least, that would be Kiva's guess.

"Yes, these are the rather famous Pridelands," Kiva responded around amouthful of brown fur. It seemed enough to stir Elly a bit, for the little whirlwind began to shift, though she remained in a state of sleep.

When she felt the condition of her friend's heart, her own began to ache in accordance. The bond between parent and child had been all but severed, the remaining strands dim and strained. Their deaths did not mean that the bonds were broken, but weakened now that they were no longer of the physical world. How she wished she could comfort her friend like the last time, was there anything that she could do?

Kami, can we meet you at Pride Rock?

-Her golden ears twitched softly with the silent words, and she spoke immediately in answer, unsure whether Kiva would be able to even hear them.- "Of course! Please come"

-Her eyes continued to search the savvannah, and softly she wished she could go running to find the goddess. To lament her sorrows once more, as they had in her last days of pain. It wasn't fair really, but right now Kami's thoughts were selfish and needy, and even simply seeing the form of the goddess would have been enough to atleast dull the ache in her chest.

Paws kneading the rocks in soft nervousness and anticipation she waited.-

The calm, ocher orbs of the young male trailed upwards continuously towards the towering Pride Rock. All of the stories he once heard as a cub confirmed every truth to what the others had spoken of- of the majesty and the royalty of countless ages that was a legend of its own.

As his ears flickered in curiosity and his tail twitched behind him, Lisani let his eyes drift back to his mate and the cubs .

"Do you want me to watch the cubs while you go meet with the pride members?" He questioned softly, a soothing comfort rumbling in his voice with a purr. "Or are we all going together?"

Ororo wasn't afraid- no, he just wasn't too sure that he was capable of offering anything to a pride whose King had passed away. Moreso this was up Kiva's alley and, as for Ororo'Lisani, he knew that if anything the Godess of Unity could mend the broken ties and the aches that seemed to dismember the pride.

(( Hope you don't mind me posting, I haven't RP'd Ang in forever, and Tahja said it was okay xD And her siblings have been RPed so yeah... x3 ))

Ang trotted happily next to her seemingly unhappy brother and her weary mother. She had been uncharacterly quiet during their trip to the pridelands, but she now wanted to take a more active role in their visit. Now that they were at their destination, the young godling was looking forward to what was to come.

She gave a glance over to her sister. "She is so lazy! I can't believe mum is carrying her" Thought the young Goddess of Loyalty. She never complained to her mother about the walking. She was being good.

No, love, that's not necessary. You can all come with me to Pride Rock. I've wanted for you all to meet Kamilika for some time now. She responded directly to her mate, as her mouth was still full.

Though her son was brooding and her daughter was behaving, as much as Kiva did appreciate their obedience she couldn't say she was fully aware of it just then. Her thoughts kept running from Kamilika to Mufasa, and back again. She wasn't certain yet what she would even say to her friend, what words she could offer.

It seemed like a long walk, but the further they went, the closer they came, until finally their five forms were approaching the base of the rock-stairway that led to the lip of the monument. Kiva could clearly see her friend now, and couldn't help but quicken her pace a step or two, climbing the stairway. Chamchela was settled down on the ground (Squirming a bit and finally beginning to stir,) to rest Kiva's jaws, and the goddess in mortal-guise stood before Kamilika with both happiness and sorrow upon her features. She wasn't quite sure what to expect from the new Queen, but was prepared to offer comfort whatever way was needed.

"It's good to see you again, Kami..." She purred quietly.

She'd been dreaming so pleasantly about her future lessons with Mrost when she was jostled out of her sleep, however carefully, by her relocation. What was going on, where were her sister, brother, and step-dad?

Confused purple eyes slowly peeled open, only to squint shut again as a cubbish yawn escaped the currently-wingless godling. Had they gotten there already? That didn't take as long as she'd thought it would, and how long was she asleep?

Elly shifted again and edged back against her mother's hind paw, curling up a little there. Despite having slept so long and so well, Chamchela was still feeling sleepy. The adults were just talking anyway.

Nodding his head as a warm smile trailed upon his maw, Ororo'Lisani rumbled softly as he too began to trail behind the goddess. Black striped ears flickered, intaking sounds with a curious and intrigued nature while wandering ocher orbs trailed upwards towards the large monument. Quiet and reserved for the moment, the young male yeilded beside Kiva but just far enough to be near both Elly and Chamchela.

Glancing towards the two godlings, Ororo grinned with a light chuckle and tenderly nuzzled both young goddesses.

"Glad to see some life from you two," he purred softly.

With soothing eyes drifting upwards towards his mate, Kiva, and Kamilika, Lisani watched with attention split between the godlings and the unfamiliar acquaintance. As this was more the time for Kiva to comfort the young lioness, Ororo hoped that he could also find more time to bond closer to the godlings while assisting in whatever necessary.

-Though the figure that approached wasn't exactly familar, not to mention the soft confusion of the male, and handful of little ones that tucked close to the lioness.. Kami was still able to pick out the goddess, ecspecially as her voice broke softly across the silence.

And suddenly the new queen found her urge to bound forward cut short, her tail curling tight around her anxious paws. What was one to say.. in a time like this. To weep and cry as she had in the past? To find out the meaning of the small group in tow? Why did she never know what to do anymore? And why did the stars remain so silent despite her desperate plea to the them in the night.

Finally the softest hint of a smile touched her maw, and she bow her head softly, letting her eyes settled close, a sigh of momentary relief preceding her voice.- "Hello Kiva.."

Kiva smiled softly and closed the distance between them, reaching out to brush her head against Kamilika's in a tender and comforting manner.

"I believe that some introductions may be in order first..."

And I think there's much that you wish to discuss...

Elly didn't respond to the nuzzle except to "mrrr" a bit in answer as she literally shifted from the gesture, but she didn't swat at him like she might've normally felt like doing even if only because mother was there and watching, and she didn't want to get into trouble. She was naturally a rough and tumble girl as it was, so it wasn't really that she disliked Ororo, even if he was awfully cuddly. It completely went against Elly's style.

The young adult chuckled softly, his muzzle wrinkling as a warm smile trailed upon his lips. He knew that Elly wasn't exactly one to cuddle with as her nature held a deep sense of rebellion and a rough appearance. Ororo'Lisani wasn't the one who would force his affection upon her but, as her surrogate father, he at least wanted to show his affection and showed that he deeply cared for her.

At least he didn't end being swatted at, right?

Perking his head upwards at the given que from the goddess, the male lowered it in due respect and let his black striped ears fall against his head. "Kamilika, it's an honor," he purred softly, slowly letting his head rise upwards once again and letting his ocher orbs level with the crimson eyes of the lioness. "I am Ororo'Lisani from the Unity Walkers and Kiva's mate."

Glancing over towards Kiva, he smiled warmly only hoping that he was showing chivalry and as much due respect. Looking back, the male smiled.

"My best wishes and prayers are with you and your pride during these times but if there is anything I can do, please, let me know."

-The pain and dispair of the days before slowly gave way, soften gently as her attention drifted to her friend, and the unfamilar faces in tow. Certainly the pain wasn't gone, in fact her heart hurt with every moment these days. But Kiva masked it in a way that she could never now, a soft grateful smile tugged at her features.- "Indeed.. who are these little ones you've brought along?"

-Her head dipped softly in respect towards the male. Kiva's mate? She hadn't mentioned on before, so it must have been new. Not only had Kiva connected her with her own mate.. but she'd had time to foster herself in the love of another.. Truely she was a strong goddess. Softly her mind drifted to curiousity. Was he a god too then?- "Thank you kindly. I don't know that there is much that can heal us... other then time.. and good fortune. But I very much appreciate your care and offer."

Kiva seemed to glow a little bit with pride, she certainly was exuding it in noticeable doses as her mate stepped forward (ever the gentleman and ever clever with scincere words.), and after their exchange, she introduced all.

"And these are the children... Mavudevunde, Chamchela, and Angavu'nyota." ((@_@ I think I got the last one right biggrin ; ))

"Devunde is the god of clouds, Elly of tornados, and Anga," She smiled softly at all of her children. "of loyalty."

I'm afraid Ororo isn't their father, but he loves them dearly as though he were. She thought privately to Kamilika, to promptly clear any confusion.

Chamchela watched the queen with quiet regard, uncertain as to what to make of her just yet, but she was anxious to drop her guise as well, so she interrupted--

"Mom, can we get rid of these now??"

And promptly earned a gentle, but none the less reminding glance from Kiva. Elly promptly huffed, but looked down and muttered an apology, rewarded as Kiva did release her hold on the illusion.

The goddess stood before the queen in full form now, tucking her wings to her sides. Chamchela, on the other hand, gave hers a great stretch with an audible grunt after having them folded for so long. Now to just get to some flying and exploring.
