Getting Started
I want to start by telling you that all of the “fairytales” and stories about the powers of wizards, witches and magicians are true! But, unfortunately only in part. However, it is possible to create spells to bring yourself money, love, wisdom, contentment, and more.
You must understand, thought, that unlike the magick in fairy tales and in movies, most real magick does not occur instantaneously. As an example, it you worked a ritual to bring you money, it may take a week pr two for the money to arrive. When it does arrive, it would come only by natural means. But if you properly perform your ritual, come it must!
No one can give you magical powers. You have to earn them. There is only one way to do this, Practice! Practice! Practice!
You should also keep a record of your practices, experiences, thoughts and dreams. This should be done in two separate records or diaries.
The Dream Diary
Starting right now, today, you should start keeping a diary of your dreams. When you dream (and everybody does dream), one of four things may occur:
1. Astral Work. When doing astral work, you are learning lessons toward your spiritual, psychical and magical development as well as practicing these lessons. This occurs on what is called the “astral plane.” You will learn more about the kabalistic and magical interpretation of the astral plane in later lessons.
2. Psychological Messages. Many times your subconscious needs to tell your conscious something, but your conscious refuses to listen! In some dreams the subconscious sends a message, in symbols, to the conscious. This is a basis for Freudian analysis.
3. Play. The mind, at rest may wander aimlessly and meaningless, sending any sort of beautiful or bizarre pictures to your conscious.
4. A combination of the above

Class Lesson 1.1 Instruction:
Material Need:
- A Blank NoteBook - Some paper or small note pad - A pen or pencil to write with
Instruction:
1. Before you go to sleep, make sure there is a piece of paper or notepad next to you and a pen or pencil
2. As soon as you wake up, if you remember anything from your dream even a little bit, jot it down to the piece of paper(s) or notepad next to you (when you followed instruction 1). Later on the day, put it in your dream diary. Don't forget to put the dates on it.
Even if you don't remeber (or believing that you didn't dream of anything), put in your dream diary : I Choose Not To Remember My Dream (don't forget the date).
3. Don't try to analyze your dream!
4. Do this for 2-3 weeks (this is only for short-term, better result if you analyze it after a couples of months), and than try to analyze it.
5. Share your result of what you have notice after keeping a dream diary for a while here.
If you already done dreams diary for a while, you may go onto lesson 1.2.

F.A.Q
Why do I have to keep a dream diary for at least 3 Week?
The only reason why I say at least 3 weeks or a month and up (continue this even after you are done in 3 week) is that because sometimes dreams could be like a jigsaw puzzle, you need to glue all of them up to piece the information up, as well as helping you remember them more and more efficently.

I don't nessacerily believe in the "all fairytales are true" part. I mean, come on! If they were, why are they called "fairytales"? You guys seem a little stranger then the people I normally hang with. And they're pretty wierd. But I'll give it a shot.
Right. Well, I used to keep a dream diary, but I lost it. I still remember most of them though. But yea...I'll do it. It sounds a little wack, but interesting nonetheless. I need something to do for the day anyway. That's all of Lesson 1 though? Just write down dreams for three weeks?

ok sounds really good to me, yeah I have heard of this before, well my therapist suggested I do this for other reasons, but well I never listened to her to begin with. So yeah, but well it sounds like a really good idea. I'll start doing that, and maybe just make my Gaia journal into my dream journal

For now yes, you could start on lesson 1.2 as well, the only reason why I say at least 3 weeks or a month and up (continue this even after you are done in 3 week) is that because sometimes dreams could be like a jigsaw puzzle, you need to glue all of them up, as well as helping you remember them. Also, don't forget to read HERE

I had experience this before, I didn't have the paper and pencil with me so the next thing I knew I forgot every thing gonk

3nodding Keeping a dream diary is also good for dream recall for all you lucid dreamers out thar. A lucid dream is meaningless if you can't ever remember it!
(><;; I've only had one lucid dream, the others were all wasted attempts. In one I tried changing the scenery when I had my seatbelt on in a car, but it failed and in my dream I was like, 'meh, oh well'. And I'm just semi-lurking right now)

Things happen. You never really know, life is just like a box of bombs. Waiting to explode in your face before you know it.

Purple_doom I don't nessacerily believe in the "all fairytales are true" part. I mean, come on! If they were, why are they called " fairytales"? You guys seem a little stranger then the people I normally hang with. And they're pretty wierd. But I'll give it a shot. Give a kitten milk and he'll be full for a day. Wow, that can be taken as very offensive by some people...the whole comment about weirdness. confused However, I will ignore my urge to get very defensive and shrug it off despite how that was not part of the post when you first made it. I do somewhat agree, but I think you read too far into it. It's talking about how magic/magik is real. Otherwise, it wouldn't have went on to say "But, unfortunately only in part." now would it? stare
Moving along, and away from my response to the quote...
I've had some very lucid (and often frightening or nonsensical) dreams lately, but I often forget everything about them - other than bits and pieces - within hours. A few dreams have stuck with me because they had a profound effect on my emotions when they occured. So I figured I'd take part in this class. I'd just rather not share all of my dreams with the general public unless I'm sharing one that's particularly interesting. sweatdrop
Besides, I see that some parts regarding meditation and visualization follow and I seriously need to work on that.
Teach a kitten to hunt and he'll be full for life.

That's great to know ^_^, now keep that in a diary! rhichi Oo yes teacher! I actually had a very odd dream last night involving ***** and cheating on my fiance...and dunk tanks... You should keep that in a diary, maybe as you remember more and more of your dreams, you maybe able to piece it together or get the message much faster.
