Nintendo Fusion may be the most stereotypically "emo" concert ever this year. Not only is it The Sleeping and Hawthorne Hieghts, two of the cornerstone bands to any scene kid rep factors, but it's nintendo. It's funny because in The Emoly Spaztastic Adventures of Wicketman and Drugs the Ramen Mutt (a satirical comic book based on the emo culture that I work on), we recently actually made a joke in which our main character Wix, is contemplating what to do- to which his friend shoeboy (who lives in a giant conversesque boot) says, "Play nintendo and listen to Hawthorne Hieghts? That sounds EMOTASTIC!" Lol. Turns out I'm going to the concert with another of the comics' writers. LAWL.
Discuss.

Aiko-kawaii awww..now thats something new..How did some game developers cam up with a concert concerning emo bands???WTF? They took a poll of their demographic and then got all the most popular bands on board. I still say that a Sega tour would be better, as it would actually feature real rock, metal and trance. By the way, actually look at that band listing, non of them are emo.

Scene kids and Emo Kids aren't the same. And I like Hawthorne Heights. . . If Nintendo wants to host it, good for Nintendo. They might as well ban Taste of Chaos too if Nintendo can't hold anything featuring "emo" bands.

The funniest part is that Nintendo said that they wanted to break new grounds with the next generation, so what's better than to go for the sterotype emo (scene) kids? Isn't Emery on the tour too?
