Well I'm sure that most of you notice a few things that reoccur on a regular basis in Yuu Watase's series.
For example: whenever one of the characters faints, it's because of a fever!!!
Alice 19th: In first book, Alice passes out after searching for Mayura when she disappears
Fushigi Yuugi: Miaka passes out because of a fever at the end after confessing her love to Tamahome
Fushigi Yuugi Gembu Kaiden: It happens to Uruki/Rimudo in the first book after he/she frees himself/herself from the death thinger
Imadoki! : Tampopo goes out when she goes to check on the flowers during a huge rain storm
Appare! Jippangu: Samon passes out after his chase after Oteru
((is that her name in English? Reminder: I read my mangas in french))
Zettai Kareshi: Soshi passes out in the third book on the island
That story there at the end of Imadoki! where the girl is a neat freak: Well she gets the "passing out because of a fever" thing too
I'm not sure about Ayashi no Ceres because I haven't read it... Only seen it!!!
I think there's a lack of creativity there!!! Why not pass out because of loss of blood???? Or passing out because they saw something completely disgusting???
Well then there's also that fact that Kyo somehow ends up on top of Alice in every book... And if he can't, Yuu Watase makes sure that he makes up for it in a previous book

No, I never noticed that. But it makes sense. Fevers are a big deal in Japan, actually.
In CERES: Celestial Legend, there is a time when Aya faints or collapses from a fever, but in that series, people have fainted from other reasons, including blood-loss (Toya). Some people also get drugged as well. Oh, and Aki also fainted from pure exhaustion a couple of times.

I've also noticed something else that occurs. In Alice 19th and Ceres, Alice and Aya both pass out when they are nude eek It is funny, but weird.

Here's one that Watase-sensei likes to abuse (in every single manga of hers that I have read...): rape/assault as a plot device. And the girls can never get out of it themselves! They always need their big strong boys to come to the rescue. rolleyes
And I totally noticed the fainting thing. Fainting when you're feeling ill is very serious yet it's played off so lightly in her manga, like everyone faints when they catch a cold.

There are also love triangles with Yuu Watase. In Fushigi Yugi there was Tamahome, Hotohori, and Miaka (Would you include Noriko in this triangle?) In Absolute Boyfriend there is Riiko, Soushi, and Night. I haven't read any of the others yet. Although, I did read Imadoki but didn't notice any there.
