I can't seem to progress anymore with Genji's friendship until I find him a blue tartan. Day after day he seems stuck on getting one.
Will I not be able to get his picture until I find him one?

You might be able to. I've gotten peoples pictures without giving them things they wanted, mostly because I didn't have them. I send them letters and talked to them a lot and all that. I got their pictures... Wish I could help you out with the blue tartan, but, checked my catalog and I don't have it >_<

the same thing happened to me.what you can do is give him another colour tartan instead cause he's actually colour blind
