Update: I'll add some more intense colors to heighten the contrast. What do you have to say? Happy Holidays! Previous Line Art The lines were not satisfactory, so I put some effort into them and beefed them up. Voila. I'll definately put some subtle colors into this soon. I changed Til's body type as well as some other things. Anything else that may help? I'm all ears and fingers. ...Like some sort of scary Ears and Fingers Monster. Previous Post Alright... This is before I do my uber liberal overlay layer technique on my art. What kind of adjustments do you think would look good compositionally? I'm kind of strugglin' at the moment. I think I'll do more blends into darks and neutrals... But I'd love some AFaggy advice. Please to be stripping the flesh offa my bones please kaythanks.

the green is a little weird
there is some painterly texture and depth on the lady that is pretty great- but that's the only place it is. there's no depth anywhere else really.
also. the green background is kind of a weird turnoff.

I suspect the depth is to-be-added. I do agree, that green is a little off. Desaturate it by about 50% maybe?

I had a feeling the green was gonna hold me back.
And it has. Because it sucks.
Desaturating with warm reds now. heart

I dont think green is bad, it's just the wrong green. It's kind of a kelly green, maybe something a little more yellowy?

I (subjectively) think the subject matter is tasteless, but we all know I'm GD's favorite prude!
But the green. Yes.
The green. Kinda gross. Um. I would personally suggest turning form on the man. He looks very flat.

I think what you've got there with the new lines is definitely in the right direction. I don't know why I prefer it, per se, but I do.
There's a lot more "charm" in the pencil drawing. I wonder if there is a way to retain that while coloring the picture...

I wonder if there is a way to retain that while coloring the picture... I think the color job will have to be extra conservative. I have some experience coloring amazing lines and not taking away from them; Original Work.My colors.I'll need to enhance the lines with color, not obstruct them.

i was personally a fan of Til's original waspish body type.
If you still wish to keep her looking more solid, i would maybe work the pose a bit more to show off the curvature of her spine and a**.
god it's really late here.
