I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.
It seemed a fairly ordinary night when Orlando and Rosalind--two young and ordinary, healthy kids--left Durem that early November evening to visit Gadow Waeting, former tutor and now friend of both of them. It's true there were dark storm clouds, heavy, black and pendulous, toward which they were driving. It's true also that the spare tire they were carrying was badly in need of some air. But they being normal kids, and on a night out, were not going to let a storm spoil the events of their evening.
It was a night out they were going to remember for a very long time.

*looks out the window*
To Orlando: You know, that's the third motorcycle I have seen. I can't believe anybody would be so stupid to drive a motorcycle on a night like this!

To Rosalind: Yes, dear. Life is a cheap thing to people like them.

To Rosalind: We must have made a wrong turn somewhere.

To Rosalind: Don't worry, I'll put it in reverse.
*turns and looks out the rear window as he pushes his foot down on the gas pedal*

Calming down: What was that bang?

To Rosalind: We must have blown a tire.
*looks out at the rain*
You sit here, and I'll go look for help. I think I saw a castle back down the road awhile back.

To Orlando: I'm still coming with you. Who knows... the owner of that castle could be a beautiful woman who would steal you away from me and you would never return.
