I adored this show as a kid I had the video, and the book, and the yearly annals, and someone gave me nearly all the magazines. There were hundreds of them! Anyone remember? They had to leave because the humans built houses on their wood and they had to get to White Deer park. And then you had the fights between the blue foxes and the red ones xd It rocked ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPz1Zy98bJw

I could never watch that as a kid, whenever I tuned in, something would die, or be missing presumed dead, or bulldozers were trashing the forest or something, it was traumatizing.

Lol, I agree It was a very morbid show Like when the hedgehogs die on the motorway, and I think it's either Fox or Badger they lose down the stream. But they come back...

OO-la! A more tradgic, gritty and savvy show did never exist in our youth, The creator of this show, and indeed the books was an inspired genious, I truly loved watching everything that happened withing this, though it was so unbeliveably sad at times!

I used to love that!!! They repeated them a while back at stupid o'clock in the morning and I would wake up just to watch it... then I'd go back to sleep. I cried so much when they found the mice...

I don't actually know what was so interesting about a group of animals trekking across the countryside, but I loved it xd

It's worth reading the books by Colin Dann as well.
