We have two fresh lvl 1s (Arc and Kay), so that means we need to battle! Come on Panthie... kick my a**!
SETTING: The Cathedral of Light... an abandoned holy church of the Gods...there's many stained-glass windows, with light coming out from one end and pure darkness coming out from the other...old vines are growing out from the benches and there's a ghostly preacher about, watching the fight in awe....

Hmm, MP is decent...I have low health but I'll be able to heal myself quite a bit.

Kay looked around the massive hall, standing in the middle of the hall. She slowly scanned with her bow and kept on searching for the white mage. She didn't normaly take out white mages, but that's who she was told she was battling this time.
She spotted him and fired, knowing she would hit.

Arc felt the arrow lodge in his shoulder. It wasn't as painful as he thought it would be, but still, he was pretty small for his age and could be beaten easily...he knew of this weakness, but yet...he could also heal himself. Perhaps he would outlast the archer, he thought.
Arc lunged at Kay with his trusty White Mage hammer, hoping that it would at least cause some damage.

Kay winced and jumped back as she was hit by the mage's hammer. She jumped onto a seat and fired another into the mage, hoping to stop him from hitting her again.

Arc's hand glowed white and he quickly healed himself. Perhaps he didn't need to tend to his wounds this early in the battle, but better safe than sorry, he figured. ((healing doesn't waste a turn so I'll attack you during my next post....rolling one die to see if the healing spell crits, or not. I need a 6 to critically heal myself))

Feeling rejuvenated, Arc rolled on top of Kay's body and attempted to smash her undersides with the hammer. "I don't know who you are, but I can't let you win" he said modestly.

"Arc" ... He was unsure of why they were fighting, they both seemed like they were playing on the same team. It looked like Kay didn't WANT to hurt Arc, but that actually made him angry with her, like it was a bit patronizing...like she didn't think he could fend for himself, or something. Perhaps it was his own insecuirities shining forth, but whatever the reason, Arc decided to play a little bit nastier and he smashed his hammer in Kay's face.
