Izzie is going to a few gigs in the next couple of weeks and would like to hear about the other guild member's upcoming and favourite gigs ^^
I think my favourite gig was Donnington '06. Ok, it's a festival but it was just so freaking awsome it pwns all others I've been to 3nodding It was basically being surrounded by 80,000 fellow freaks of varying types (metallers being the most abundent species, but also the odd gorgeous goth, punk emo, and hippie). The defining band for me was Lacuna Coil, nothing beats moshing to Christina belting out Enjoy the Silence, absolutely amazing live. I also had much love for my dreads, including a lovley Australian girl grabbing them inbetween waiting for Cradle to come on, apparently it takes 'dedication' to wear a full head of wool dreads in 30 degree (celcius) heat; I say it's more stupidity rofl
Upcoming gigs for Izzie is Opeth with special guests Paradise Lost in Nottingham. I only found out about this last week and there were tickets left, cue Izzie dragging a load of friend down to Nottingham with her to watch outstanding metal at it's best xd
The week after it's Muse, I fell in love with them back in '99 and it's my first time seeing them live! Izzie had to stay up the whole night to order the tickets seeing as I wouldn't have gotten up in time if I'd fallen asleep. I was one of the first to get them! Half an our later they were sold out eek And I'd forgotten to get a ticket for someone sweatdrop

My friends say I'm my own mosh pit. I don't like them because I can't see very well and I don't want to get punched in the eye.
But I dance pretty insanely in my row/seat/aisle/section

Mosh pitters.... I just think they're insane eek Luckily I go to gigs where the average age is oldie, so they're too concerned with their dodgy hips (and pint glasses razz )

My favourite gig to date has to be Biohazard when I managed to break through a wall of death... I'm not saying my ribs didn't pay for it, but I broke through.
The only gig I have comming up really is Type O Negative.

Damn you! *death glare of doom* stare Wall of death is for pansies that can't handle a real pit so play British bulldog instead. Tickets should be easy to get, seeing as its not even been officially announced yet. Its an academy tour aswell. Tickets are 20quid. And rumour has it Celtic Frost might be joining them.

I definitely don't like mosh pits. But that's mostly because I might go into panic if too many people are too close to me.
Next gig? Well, there is Within Temptation April 20th. And I'll be there! whee

'tis no fun to be metal and stuck in a backwater with no mode of transport save for public transportation, which makes it a b***h to get beck home in time for real life the next day!! scream stressed luckily this does comfort me, I've never much cared for Celtic Frost
