Personality // Adventurous, curious, calm [at times], patient, skiddish, stubborn, a collector, hard to control.
Brief Physical Description //With short tanish brown and white fur, a coarse overcoat while the undercoat is silky and soft, Sanar is now a bipedual Aerandir child! She had hard hoof like toes, keen dark brown black eyes and fairly large often flickering ears. Her wings are a bit small and rather downy, completely incapable of flight and are dark brownish in color. Her tail is composed of a bit of Ostrich fluff and the tanish main Guanaco tail. Her hair is very long, reaching all the way down to her knees and is greybrown in color. She keeps it tied back into two tails with a two ribbons. Red markings, mostly squares and lines, litter her body.

Nickname: Aemu, Chaos
Species: Heanzian
Age: 17
Physical Appearence: Chao has navy-blueblack hair that reaches down to the small of her back and washed out grey-blue eyes. A bit on the thin side, she looks her age, or perhaps a bit older, with no real distinguishing features.
Personality: A matriarch who never, EVER expected to settle down and have a family. Chao's still young and it often shows. Extremely adaptable, or perhaps just very desensitized, she's less likely to react to things most people would consider weird or fear inspiring. Scarcastic, cynical and loyal to a fault she's more than willing to do whatever it takes to keep her freedom and her family.
History: Aeon herself is very secretive of her past pre-Barton move. She arrived in Barton one day with nothing but a backpack full of odds and ends and the clothing on her back, calling herself "Chao". She bought an appartment for herself as well as a plot of land with a delapitated house near the forest by selling off many of the things she had. For quite some time she didn't venture into the mainstream of Gaia, mostly keeping herself busy by getting odd jobs (often fixing things about her apartment complex or walking various creatures) or going to school. At some point her twin, Rico, showed up and her old friend Sin, managed to find them. Between the three of them the old house was transformed into a comfortable home where Rico and Chao now live. Neither talk about their pasts often, save in the seculsion of their own home or when visiting their parents, and Sin is the only other one who seems to know anything.
Since the completion of the house Chao has become more involved in the community of Gaia to the point of making friends and, somepoint along the line, signed herself up for the Aerandir program. Using what inherent magic she possesses she (more or less) split herself into two Chaos, one stayed in Durem the other headed down to Ar'Idil. The two of them are connected in some ways but are, for the most part, two different people.
Extended History: [spoilerific]In all fact Chao could be considered a 'convict' hiding in Gaia. When she and her twin, Rico were born, Aeon had a small pair of downy white wings spreading from her back whereas Rico had nubby horns pressing out just above his forehead. While horns are a very common Heanzian trait wings are not, and she was the first of their kind to show this trait in some immeasurable amount of years. As He'ancele is very much a war inspired country/continent, seeking to someday unite a world empire under its banner, it's leaders took this as a sign from higher Powers that they were destined to do so and came for Aeon when the twins were 7. Aeon refused to go with them.
The next year their family was broken up when a group of men came for the two by force. Aeon was forced out the door by her mother and ran off, quickly joining up with a rebel group and lost contact with her brother and family. The young girl was quickly trained in piloting and was primarily a messanger/sniper but ended up in close range combat anyway, accounting for many of her quirks.
She spent the next four years piloting, was shot down several times, narrowly escaping until, finally, she was captured. After swiftly being sentanced to death the rebel's came for her once more, barely saving her from certain death via a beating by the high ranking guards. Unluckily she was thrust into a river and went over a waterfall, nearly dying in the process and is/was presumed dead by most of He'ancele.
What happened next is a mystery as somehow the pre-teen ended up in another world at Erasin's house. She stayed there for several months before leaving for new worlds and seeking someone who could hide her wings. It was several months before she came to Gaia, taking on an old nickname for her new identity.
*Note: Chao will not tell her real name to anyone for her own reasons, only her family, and possible Sin, knows it. This is why, when she is in the exclussive company of her family, she will be refered to as Aeon but with anyone else she's Chao. Please refer to her as Chao.

06-06-05--Recieved notice of voyage to Ar' Idil.
07-06-05--The two jars arrive, plan is formulated, it's discovered that Sin's heading to the island as well.
08-06-05--Arrived on the Island, met new neighbors, found the new house and began to set up.
17-06-05--Recieved a letter from one 'Anthony Blakewell' announcing that the artifacts are ready to be placed in one jar! Also it is expected that the Guanaco/Ostrich will be female and the name 'Sanar' has been chosen.
20-06-05--Everything seems to be in order and the two artifacts of Sanar have been moved into one jar!
05-07-05--Sanar's jar begins to glow! Summer festival begins tommarow.
06-07-05--Festival begins! Chao meets some of the other Guardians, visitors and Aerandir and... Sanar's jar breaks O.O
06-07-05--[continued] Sanar is born! The other Ar'Idil Gryphons begin to arrive as well...

-Tallest and heaviest of all living birds.
-Flightless.
-Able to survive dehydration of up to 25%.
-Can attain speeds of up to 40 mph.
-Can have a height of up to 8ft and a weight of up to 300lbs.
-Known to play dead when threatened.
-Not extremely social birds.
-Very strong eyesight.
-Two toes.
-Lays the largest egg of any living bird.
-Can lay up to thirty eggs.
-Fond of water when it's abundant.
-Protective.
Guanaco [Lama guanicoe]
-Endangered species.
-Usual height is around 4 ft at the shoulder
-Can run at a speed of up to 35 mph.
-Double coated with coarse guard hair and a soft undercoat.
-Gentle temperament.

Greater Spotted Woodpecker [Dendrocopos major]
-Tends to be 23-26 cm long, with a 38-44 cm wingspan.
-Feed young mostly on insects, seeds and spiders, but are notorious theifs of other hole-nesting birds' eggs.
-Scarlet nape is only found on male birds.
-Produce between four and seven eggs.
-When a Greater Spotted Woodpecker strikes a tree with its beak it is not concussed because of the way the bird's beak joins its skull. The stresses are transmitted directly towards the centre of the brain and do not cause the knockout swirl.
-The roots of their tonges are coiled round the back of their skulls and can be extended a prodigious distance to harpoon insect larvae in their tunnels.
-The Great Spotted Woodpecker’s tongue protrudes 40mm beyond the tip of the bill.
