Supplies: One small-medium crystal, craft wire, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, one candle, holy water, and a necklace (or cord or yarn or string)
Cast a circle, and light the candle in the name of the god and goddess (you can name specific ones if you like, but you don't have to). Purify the crystal in the holy water, and ask the elements and the god and goddess to add protection to it. Take the craft wire and make a 'holder' for the crystal (the easiest way is to wrap it around the crystal, depending on size and shape) Take the top part of the wire and make a loop, then cut it off (making sure that you tuck any sharp end of the wire in towards the crystal or dull it so it doesn’t stab you). Place the crystal on the necklace and close the circle thanking the elements and the god and goddess for aiding you in your working and adding their protection.
Now you have a nice piece of jewelry that will help protect you and will look nice with almost anything. ^_^
(and you can use any kind of stone or jewel you wish to, but quarts usually is a very general stone that everyone can get a hold of)

I'm making two of these for my friend and boyfriend.. They really need them... However, I'm taking a bit longer to consecrate it ^^ This is what I'm doing, and how I cleansed my stone of its energies (I've been wearing mine for about two years, so it needed a cleansing xd ).
I take a full day to do it so I'm just going to mix the steps in with the spell...
Take the stone you're making the necklace out of and call forth your healing energy.
"Oh loving Earth,
Take of this stone its energies.
Let the Solar Father heat and loosen its energy, opening the gateway between souls and flesh."
Place the stone on an outdoor altar or in a tree, where sun can shine on it.
At sundown (or whenever time is convienient for you), gather these materials:
Incense or twigs (I use the saved stems from the incense that I burn, which I keep in a black amethyst chalice)
Holy Water or Rain Water.
You'll also need mud, dirt, rock, or ashes.
Open your circle and continue your spell/prayer, as you dip the stone into the rain/holy water.
"Loving Earth, let your love wash away its happiness,"
Now, light the twigs and drop the stone into the flames.
"Let your passion burn away its sadness,"
Put out the fire with the water or mud or dirt, and--when the stone is cool enough-- lift it into the air and let the wind or some incense smoke wash over it.
"Let your breath cool its distress,"
Cover the stone with the dirt/mud and roll it in your hands.
"And let your flesh absorb its lonliness."
Wash the mud off with the water again, close your circle, and set the stone on the altar/tree again.
"Now, let mother moon's rays absorb the last of anger, and cool the flesh to accept more energy."
Leave the stone in the moonlight all night, then in the morning or the next day put the wire and/or cord on your new necklace!
*crosses fingers and hopes she doesn't get laughed at for following a spell that came to her in a dream*

Thankies blaugh
Woohoo *dances around* I found a buttload of hematite ^.^ Well, actually my boyfriend found it for me and it's only like eleven stones, but it's still a lot more than I've found in a long time xd We went to the Dallas Zoo and they had this humangous thing full of stones that you fill up a little bag with as many as you can fit (or want) for five dollars; I got amethyst and quartz and I think Rose Quartz and the hematite for Stephen and some for me and some other pretty green stones... T'was pretty cool.
...I find all this after I've made the protection necklaces for my friends.. Ah well ^.^
