Go out and have a good time, but abstain from drinking in excess.

Don't get drunk. It's bad for you and doesn't set a good example of being Christian. Try and have fun when they aren't drinking.

Just talk to people. Make some friends. Complain about how there's nothing to do. I'd be very surprised if you didn't get invited somewhere if you just start hanging out with the right people. And since it sounds like you're not crazy about the crowd you're currently spending your time with, it sounds like it's time to make some new friends anyway.
Or, you know, you could just show up. But I'm not sure how well that would go over.

Okay. I have tiny experience with this. Tiny. And I've read a lot of true stories about things like this. [christian mag my gran sends me.]
You can go to a party, you can go in, but DO NOT drink. Just don't. I mean, if you're legally allowed to, mebbe ..although, beer is gross. blech. dunno why people like drinking it. But, you could in theory drink some. But if you do, don't down more than one whateever it is. Don't get sucked into that. And PRAY. No one ever thinks to pray anymore.

things are improving socially and i have met others in the same position but the girl whos from my church and shares the flat with me isnt very nice.i'll call her hannah.for an example i had the flu and been vegetarian i was run down and had a can for guinness to get my iron up.this 1 can of guinness lasted me 2 weeks and she knew was for health reason, but another flatmate left a pina colda about and in front of her parents hannah accused me of owning the pina colda which is an insult in my church and implied to her parents i was a wino.i was annoyed i think hannah did that dilbertely.

i wouldnt drink. i mean if my friends only like me because i drink, then they're not really true friends. its just peer pressure. just be more socialable and be yourself. im sure you two are not the only two who arent drinking. dig deep and you'll be surprised.

Le Bible doesn't say don't drink. The Bible says "Don't get drunk off your rocker."

I used to think the same thing about my town, but I wound up making friends with a few people, who I had pegged all wrong as the crunk type, that were good christians.
th bible does say to obey the laws of your land. S don't drink at all unless you are 21+. But not everyone knows that. Everyone thinks the bible says to not drink at all. Which is why you rarely see good christian people enjoying any alcoholic beverage at all, not even the celebratory glass of wine. Because they know everyone will get the wrong idea.
Start a christian club. If your town isn't big enough for a christian youth population big enough for a club, expand to surronding areas. Theres got to be a few bigger towns near you, unless you live in Wyoming.
