Hello. Just trying to keep active by posting, here and there. So I thought up this discussion thread. This is not a poll; it is a discussion.
Discuss:
Simple or deeper reasons you are questing for said item(s);
Do you just think it looks cool on your avatar?
Does the item hold a special meaning to you?
Is it a tribute to someone special in your life?
Perhaps it has a reference to your real life personage, such as your nationality or personality?
I am questing for the Royal Scepter Gold to honor my 19th Great Grandfather, King Robert II of Scotland, who ruled over Scotland from 1371 to 1390, and was the first of the Stewart dynasty.

Im just questing for the hell of having all the items I like. Hehehe. Hows item whore greedy of me. But still I have an urge to get all the items so I can make purtyfull avatars xD
None of the items Im questing for at the moment hold meanings to me. Apart from when something gets donated by a friend. I never sell them then. xD I always keep stuff friends have given me. One reason why I dont sell anything in my intventory unless I have to of something. As I cant remember who gave me what and I dont want to get rid of anything friends have given me .. most of my inventory is made up by stuff from friends.
Wow ! Is your story about the Scepter real ? Or am I being a gulible fool ?

I kid you not! My 19th Great Grandfather was indeed King Robert II of Scotland! smile However, I have no claim, as I am not directly paternally descended from him. For me to be eligible for the Crown and Throne, he would have to be my "Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father's Father". But he is more so my "Paternal Grandfather's Mother's 17th Great Grandfather's Father-in-Law". So as you can see, I'm far too removed from the Paternal line of Royalty to be a Prince. But that doesn't mean I can't pretend. ;D

Interesting story there, although I thought the stuart line started later on, like after Elizabeth I of England when James VI of scotland took the throne of England... Or maybe I'm just getting the lines mixed up... I'm a history major and I focused my studies on tudor England and shortly after that, so I'm not sure what went on earlier than that period.
I'm questing for the nm headband cause I like it and cause I'm stubborn. It was part of a dream avi that I came up with about 2 years ago. I don't really like the look I had w/ the dream avi any more, but I still like the headband, and I'm determined to finish the quest. If anything I still like the items, just not the way they looked together.

I'm currently questing a chyaku norisu scarf. My ultimate goal on gaia is just to be recognized once for an awesome avi... I wanna be the 1st place winner in the arena one day.=3
And, as you see... the scarf is just another part of my dream avi below that I've been working on for a very long time... unlike a lot of people who would enter with a bad or unfinished avi I've been waiting very patiently to complete my dream avi because I think it'll do well. ^_^

As far as I've come to know, they are two separate clans. But I could be mistaken. My book, "Scottish Clans and Tartans" by "Neil Grant" does say, though, that King Robert II was the first of the Stewart dynasty.

Well, this really sucks for me. Even though i'm only about 10K from finishing my quest, I was just going to donate to gaia but my parents won't let me donate to gaia because they think it's a worthless and poinless cause. They said if i'm going to donate something, it's going to be to a good cause, like to the local animal shelter. so I can't finish questing as soon as I wanted too.
So now i've gotta take about another month before I can get my guitar when i could get it in a few days! this sucks.

when do you guys think deflation should hit on the guitar? I really wanna buy one. I'm actually asking people to haggle with other people to get one for a lower price since I can't do it myself. I'll pay them back and everything, but Nobody can find one for under 60K.
