Rose Montrave Vice Captain

Rose Montrave stood in the center of the bare stage looking out at her audience of trainee's. Her supporting cast, the other staff mambers of the shops were lined up on either side of her. Not that this was actually a production or even a practise, no it was just a meeting a small get togeather where everyone could ask all the questions they wanted.
"I'd like to say hello again to all of you, you're the stages first group of accepted trainees and I have a lot of hope for you." She paused and cleared her throat " The purpose of today's gathering is for everyone to get to know each other, both fellow trianees as well as us staff members that you'll be seeing a lot of. There are a few other cast and staff members currently not here today but you'll get to meet them soon enough. Please enjoy yourself and feel free to ask questions."
Roses' blue eye glittered as she spoke " Oh and be aware that today is your last day off, Classes, practise and various workshops start tommorow." It would be interesting to see how they all adjust to the new workload. "More trainees will be arriving in the up coming weeks and I hope you'll help them get caught up. Also before you leave today I will be announcing our winter production, since our cast is somewhat small at this point most of you will have a chance to appear on stage at that time. The role may not be huge but remember that all parts are important for the audience to see."
( fwee list of people also with Rose Matty Zeder ~ Acting landlord of the housing complex and building caretaker. He's 26, short with messy, shaggy dirty blonde hair falling just past his chin and pale green eyes. and at least half a dozen others who's info I'll finalise as they become needed.)

Ramajan glanced around at the traniees nearest him. He was probably just was curious about their reactions as Rose was. It would be a good way to gauge early on who might not make the cut. For himself, he couldn't hide a small grin of excitement. The few days he'd been here already had been a mix of having nothing to do and of a few enjoyable hours of exploring. He was ready for more involvement.
He wondered what production they'd be working on. Behind his grin was a twinge of anxiety. For once he'd be required to be part of a play rather than forced to work only behind the scenes. He'd never asked why he'd failed those auditions... was he really just a terrible actor? Or did they just not like his voice?
[[This is just a "Ramajan's here!" post so anyone can interact with him if they want.]]

" Like we had much time off. " Shima said softly, yawned widely, shaking her head. It was her fault for playing Kingdom Hearts last night. She stayed up until one am, not realizing the time. But she had gone to sleep without problems either.
Shima layed down in a corner, not ashamed of her "hoboness". She could go to sleep right? After all, this class wasnt actually a class. Shima was using her small bag as a pillow, as she closed her eyes.
This is actually comfortable.
(( Do you know what time classes start? I'm assuming it's in the morning. ))

Lyane stood as straight as she could in order to pay attention to Roses' words. The past few days had been hectic, ans she had spent most of her time in her room arranging furnitures and decorations. She was quite excited for her new life. However, she found herself missing her brother already. Not quite used to the new environment, Lyane had the least amount of sleep in all her years of growing up. In face, she rarely slept at all. The girl rubed her eyes sheepishly and regained her stern pose, taking a step forward and tiptoeing so she could see what's happening on stage. She blamed her parents for their short genes, and wondered why everyone seemed so much taller than her.
Getting a little impatient with the crowd, she growled under her breath and looked around to see if there's any place higher up so she could stand without stretching her neck too much.

Still slowly scanning the faces around him, Ramajan was quite startled to hear a low-pitched growl behind him. As he turned a bit his face went from puzzled to slightly amused. From the girl's posture he quickly made his conclusion. He rarely had the same problem, even though he had less than half a foot on her. It was enough.
He leaned over a bit, head still higher than hers though, and in a casual whisper said, "You'll have to be fiercer than that if you plan on forcing your way through." He straigthened up and gave her a grin. He wondered how old she was. She had interesting eyes, grey perhaps? Or an odd blue?

Lyane almost jumped when the guy in front of her turned and started talking to her. Plus the fact that she was on her tip-toes, the girl fell backward until she was able to stop herself from falling by jumping back.
"W-what?" Lyane asked outloud, both to herself and to the boy in front of her. She then tilted her head sideways and folded her arms together stubbornly. "I wasn't gonna foce my way through anyways. I'll just...go somewhere else and be taller than everyone!"

Shima woke up with a jerk, as she almost felt somebody fall back onto her.
Something about taller? Shima herself, was also on the short side. She bet anybody could be taller then her. Shima glanced around to see a crowd and a girl a bit apart. There was Ramajan. Oh well.
It might be better to move.
Shima moved farther away, pulling a jacket out of her bag. She put it over her head, trying to fall back asleep again.
(( Xaki wants to be part of the fun too! :'D ))

Ramajan chuckled a bit. He hadn't intended to startle her so, but it was still amusing to watch. He didn't feel a bit of guilt over it either, it wasn't like he wouldn't have helped her up if she'd truly fallen.
He glanced behind her, had she knocked the other girl over? He wasn't certain... why else would she be on the floor? He caught sight of bright violet locks though and knew who it was. With a bit of a huff he straightened up and focused solely on Lyane as though he hadn't seen the other girl at all.
He took a moment to run back what she'd said in his head. "Oh. Well, if you wish," he started. "Though I'm sure there are kind enough people to let you through once they realize they'll see right over your head." His tone was amused but there was a bit of extra strain that hadn't been there when he'd first spoken to her.
[[ Everything I thought of to bring Shima in was just too akwardly worded... maybe tooya will have better luck. :3nod ]]

Kayla watched the other trainees with amusement from a few feet away. She'd entered using the next entry over and had sat down an isle chunk away from the others. She had no clue who any of them expect Shima were and this was apparently the time to remedy that.
Standing she walked over to them with semi quiet "Hello" This wasn't the time to be shy but Kayla tended to let her more flamboyant and out there clothes do her talking for her.

Lyane laughed aloud from Ramajan's words, her crisp voice ringing in the stage. A few of the other trainees looked back at her, some stared with confusion, and others chuckled at the girl's bluntness.
Not paying attention to the bystanders, Lyane nodded to the boy's words. "Of course, natually they should." She looked around and found someone approaching her. The girl seemed to be saying hello, although Lyane wasn't sure since the room was pretty crowded with, more or less, loud noises. She walked backwards a little in order to get a clearer sight of the new girl. Not paying attention to what's behind her, howerer, she stumbled upon another girl, feeling her belly behind her elbow.
Lyane gasped, and quickly turned her head to see who it was. "On my Gosh I'm so sorry! Are you alright??"
((Here's my attempt trying to bring Shima in ^^))

(( Thank you! Very much appreciate everybody's help ;3 ))
Shima felt a dull pain, hitting her, and she sat up to see the same girl with blonde hair, she saw minutes ago. The girl was apologizing, but Shima didnt really register her words until a moment later.
A pause to collect herself. Then she replied. " It's quite alright. I think I got my rest anyhow, during the speech. " Shima rubbed her eyes, nodding to the girl who fell upon her.
Shima gave a small yawn, as she tucked the jacket back into her bag.
" So, this is the assembly for trainees right? " Shima asked, still rubbing her eyes, trying to get a clear vision. She spotted Kayla in front of her.
Settling her bag into her lap, Shima waved.
Is it safer to sit down.. or stand up? Boy I wonder.

Ramajan looked to the new arrival. It first though was, Odd... She dressed more extroverted then she seemed on first impression. Was she compensating for being shy, or simply changeable in her manner and dress. He gave her a shallow nod and a quick, "Hello."
He noticed in that breif moment of distraction that the other girl had gone down. Better late then never. The corner of his mouth twitched up into a lop-sidded smile. He took a step nearer the two of them and offered Lyane a hand. "Here," he said simply.
His face changed when his gaze shfted to Shima. It wasn't a strong enough change to be hate, but something more than mild annoyance. "Hm... you'd know if you hadn't spelt through part of it," he said, though his seemingly harsh words lacked a harsh sound to go with it, more of a casual comment.

Arahila had been late and was therefor stuck at the very back of the room. When all the trainees started to talk to one another and interact she remained in her seat, looking around with little more then mild interest. Arahila tended to keep to herself most of the time and while she thought of going over and joining she didn't actually do it. Other things invaded her mind, like which classes she would start with and what things she might be good at. She was extremly flexible so that would help with a few things but not all. How many trainees were there going to be and how many would make the cut for the first show....these all flew through her mind rapidly and she was only brought back to reality when her ears picke dup the familiar tones of Ramajan's voice somewhere to her right.
((I'm guessing this is after our other RP so they've already met?))

Rose frowned and sighed " I realise all of you are young but this is a serious meeting, showing me that you've suddenly lost all sense of balance or that you've not got the sense to not try to sleep before something improtant will not help your chances in getting roles. Performers are responsibleand thoughtful people off stage and on."
The kind of carelessness several of the children were showing could get them injured or killed onstage they needed to be serious, there was a time for fun yes but they should always be able to be focused and at least pay remote attention to what was going on around them.
A medium height and build ,dark haired man a few feet away from Rose also frowned at the students. " As one of your teachers I am not impressed with the class so far, I have seen your records and reveied your applications I know you are better than this. Before you ask I am your drama teacher ." The man's tone was cool but not cold he was unhappy at the moment but he did love his job and wanted to see the kids suceed

Shima shrugged at Ramajan's *casual* comment. " What can I say? Hmm.. something along the lines of 'it was my fault?' and be honest about it? Perhaps .. not. " If he was going to respond that way, so was she.
Shima looked away, as she took a comb out of her bag to give her hair a slight brush. She tugged on her long violet locks of hair, as she smoothed it down to make sure she looked decently presentable.
At hearing the teacher's strict tones, Shima automatically sat up nudging her bag over to the wall with her foot. Her comb dropped into a open pocket. Very unsubtle movements by the way.
At hearing the teacher's words, " .... got the sense to not try to sleep before.. "
Ouch. There was only one possible person, herself, that the teacher could be referring to.
" Yes mamn. Yes sir. " Shima sighed. She never actually had a teacher refer directly to her. Using her as a prime example to humilate her. Sure, her teachers had used her for GOOD examples but never bad. It made Shima feel straight-out awkward. Awkward indeed.
Wait.. Was that Kayla over there? Shima glanced over, giving Kayla a small, but energetic wave. Yay, another friend~
