The votes are in, and the decision is made. We're going to have a writing
contest! Before I get to the details, I'll show you want you'll be competing for:

Okay, so the goal is to write a piece in the form of a poem or a short
story. Short stories should be five hundred words long (which may be too
short, so you're allowed to go over). Both the poem and the short stories,
in order to qualify must be about The Dead Guild: It's people, settings,
history, happenings, et cetera. The judges of the contest will be the Guild
Members themselves. We'll all be voting on what our favorite piece is.

P.M. your entry to [ Jizo Bosatsu] and once they are all collected, they will
be posted simultaneously with a collection of the links to those threads
here. You will also then see a poll appear here with which you can vote for
your favorite piece.
Have your entries in by December 13th at the latest. If I receive all
entries before that time, then I'll begin the contest earlier. I just want to
make sure to give people enough time to put together something that they
feel is quality material. I don't want to rush anyone.
Voting will remain open for four weeks afterward to allow for people who
are less active to vote for their favorite piece. After the votes have been
tallied, the winners will be announced and the prize will be distributed.

Because of the length of time that this Writing Contest will be in
preparation, the First Prize could very well grow to include other items and
even gold. We could even see the addition of a Second and Third Place, if
there is enough participation and prize-worthy items to go around! :]
