What's going on kiddoes. I do a lot of types of artwork. The majority that I will show are going to be charcoal. I have done a ton of work in charcoal. I have studied in art for many years and I do big paintings and drawings from 18x24 up. Over the past two years I have been studying the n***s. So these will be linked and with a warning next to them as explained in the rules. So please use caution when viewing them. They are tasteful, but nude smile . That's me, so yeah...lol Also as a side note, please feel free to ask me about any kind of technique that you might find interesting, and ask why i do something. That's fine. Critiques are fine by me, I can always use something else to help me. Art list 1.Don't Look 2.Phases 3.Untitled 4.Blank

#1 Ok, So I'll start with a non nude to make it all calm like. This is an image I made that is called Don't Look. It is charcoal on paper. The dimensions are 18x24. I will update my artwork at least once a week. I'll host a few new images whenever it feels like the time to do so. smile

#2 Here is another Charcoal drawing on a 18x24 piece of charcoal paper. I first seperated it out into four seperate sections and had the model pose 4 different ways for about 3-4 minutes each time. When I work I prefer to draw fast and let my marks be my guide.

Thanks a ton! I think that the foreground should mesh with the background, but be seperate still. I'll show you soon enough. I'm printing some of my recent stuff to post it.

#4 BLANK This is one of my most recent drawings, it is MUCH larger than you first see it here. It is 22x30. It is Charcoal on Cold Press Watercolor Paper. Great paper, but really expensive, like 7 bucks a sheet.

ooh my favorite one is BLANK. i like how you blended the shadings on the face. ...and what exactly is Cold Press Watercolor Paper?
the untitled piece took me a couple seconds to figure out what it was, but it's still very well done. i like how it's abstract. 3nodding
charcoal is a cool media to work with, and you used it well. keep up the great work!! xd

Thanks so much. Yeah, blank has been something of a challenge. I don't know if i'm finished with it yet. I don't htink i am. Charcoal is nice, I prefer Compressed Charcoal rather than Vine since vine is more of a middle tone and Compressed is very dark.

Cold and Hot press paper have a different textures to them. Hot press is very fine and has next to no grain. Cold press is looser and depending on the effect you're looking for will give your paper a different feel when being used on. I like cold press for water color myself. It makes it seem more authentic. biggrin
(even if I suck at watercolor! xp )
