So, you want to get donated to?

Rule Number One: DON'T EXPECT THEM.
+ Never expect donations, alot of people are questing on Gaia and they only donate out of the goodness of their heart.
Rule Number Two: Participation is the key.
+ Truth be told, if you're only hanging out in the subs - you will not get donated too. You have to be active on the main forum for people to notice you. We are NOT a chairty, you will not get gold or items simply by asking or making a topic.
Rule Number Three: Don't keep chanigng your quest.
+ If you're questing for item - don't stop. No one wants to see a new item every week - questing takes time and if you stick with it, you have a better chance of getting donated too.

Tips:
+ Sheer's Guide - This is how to make gold, seriously.
+ Don't be an a**-hat and don't diss the guild because you've yet to get donated too. There's a reason.
+ Saying you'll take anything is fine. I always give away my stuff from Daily Chance.

But I still don't have enough gold to get this item!?

Yes, even I can not rely on donations. So you've got to work for it. How?

+ Open an art shop: If you've some talent open an art shop in Requests and Commissions. DO NOT OVERPRICE. In fact, just under price and hope you get tips. I used to sell avi art for 1k and barely got requests, now that I sell for 500 gold - I get requests and tips.
+ Try a service: If you don't have any artistic talent, check out: Services. Getting paid to bump isn't that bad. Try to find someone who is looking for applicants instead of opening your own shop. Working together can be rewarding.
+ Writing and other talents: Just advertise yourself and hopefully someone will pick you up. Minishops is a good way to make gold. Just make sure to read your stickies.

A key to all: ACTIVITY. Minishops is fast paced. You're going to need a link to your shop and people to talk or bump.

When all else fails...

When you just can't do chibis and bumps for gold; try something else.

Look for contests such as winning items or gold. Join lottos that don't have an insane amount of slots. Just try some luck.

Just remember, Gaia isn't just about pixelated items. This is a community and maybe you'll just have the best luck of earning gold by chatting.

So stop looking at the gold counter D<
