Well in my psyche class lately we've been studying the basics of personality, this means for me that I've taken the gamut of tests to tell me who I am, the only acurate on is based off of the Meyers Briggs test, but isn't quite the in depth test the MB test is. I've found that I'm an Introverted, INtuiting, Thinking, Percieving person (INTP, there are four sets of letters, you take four short tests and get four letters, your combo gives you your profile etc...) and that the profile I got was quite similar to my own personality and drives. The one thing it gave me most insight on though was the fact that I'm an introvert, or someone who derives most of their energy from within them selves, the kind of person who might describe themselves as an island, not needing others to complete their goals and make their life work (someone living in their own head might be a less confusing way to explain it). The more I think about it, the more I see the ways it really affects my life on whole, trying to be objective as I can, in my past I've seen the same trends, ie. a few really strong friendships, not speaking alltogether that much outside of that small group, loyalty, So my question to you all is, are you introverted or extraverted, and does it affect your life on whole? ~If I could find the same test to take online I would, but I can't, there are however plenty of personality tests out there online (most of them bogus though) so it shouldn't be an issue to find one, or a thousand, really it's up to you. That is all...

then i suppose i am a introvert. i am living in my own head. i dont need the people around me to motivate. i do have a small group of friends. real friends. nice to know this. and your right, most personality tests on internet are fake and cheap. i prefer the game types. as a final fantasy character the test told me that i am vivi the mage. curious and naive...

I was given that test once and if memory serves I got INFJ and I know that the I stands for introvert and I agree with that 100% I just never really looked into what the rest of it means.

I'm an introvert definitely. That description basically fits me perfectly, especially the few but loyal friends and the island description. Sometimes it's honestly hard for me to ask for help, even though I know that people are willing to give it to me. I just think that I'm being selfish or annoying. I also get kind of impatient with people who ask for help and aren't listening to what I'm saying. That is probably one of my biggest pet peeves ever. That's probably the reason why I don't really want to ask for help. I really don't want to annoy the person that I ask any more that I am. Plus, I'm interrupting what they were doing.

he he... dude... on the mb test im an ENTP... we might get along... then, i scored really high on the extrovert scale.
does it effect my life? of course... i have quite a few circles of friends. of course, i have my deep close friends too. and yes, i realize the counter inuitivity in me telling you all im an extrovert, and spending two-three hours on the internet per day...

I'm a little of both. In some ways I'm definetly an extrovert. I will tell almost anyone anything about myself. But then at the same time I live in my head sometimes.
It's kinda odd.

im a lil bit of both depending on who im with, if im with friends then im an extrovert no questions but if im not i become an introvert kinda weird but meh... one thing to remember tho is that the tests arent going to be perfect just because you know what the test is measuring and how the questions are worded

I remember taking that test, and although I cannot remember the letters I got, I do remember that I found myself boring.
It was a sad, sad day.

im introverted. and "normal" people scare the hell out of me. i have no friends, but i do have aquantinces, lifes too lonely to be without someone to talk to. id say being introveted has made a huge impact on my life because i dont really think i need people as much as i do, so i have a lot of peopple who dislike me cuz the think im snobby or something

Heh, I learned that Introverts generally look for "bridges" to the outside world through friendships and relationships etc, looking at my friends (in general of course) and those I've dated, yeah, I generally get along with outgoing people, they make me be the part time extrovert I like being lol. El Yo im a lil bit of both depending on who im with, if im with friends then im an extrovert no questions but if im not i become an introvert kinda weird but meh... one thing to remember tho is that the tests arent going to be perfect just because you know what the test is measuring and how the questions are worded Same here, and yeah the tests out there all have their faults, thats a given, it's still eerily accurate for something that's not even the full version ya know? ninja

I have no clue what I might be. Do I have close friends? Hell no. I haven't cared to be part of a group with people where I live. The majority of people in this town are two-faced, and only your friend when you give them stuff. Well, I do have close friends, but they live in Denver, Colorado(Future home) but I don't get to see them or hardly talk to them on a regular basis. I guess I rely on comfort from my friends, knowing that they're there for me, and i'm there for them.
Introvert or extrovert?
