There is in fact a very detailed Metaplot in the works in my head. However I'm coming across a few stumbling blocks and would really like some input from you guys, the Guardians, to help it come to pass.
First and foremost: Participation. I would never make something mandatory, so I wonder, how many of you would want to participate? This is my major concern. I want to create a plotline that moves at a steady pace and has many, many of our kids involved. After speaking with some of the guardians for opinions it seems Winter (Dec/Jan) might be the best time for you guys to have time to be involved. What do you personally think? Would you be interested in joining? Would you be able to stay active in it? What's the best time for you?
Secondly, incentive. While I'd like to think the chance at a fun group RP is enough incentive, popular opinion suggests there be something else. XD So.. I've been brainstorming in terms of what the participants will be able to reap as reward for the experience, but I'd like your opinion. What would you like to see as the end result of a metaplot?
And so that you have an inkling of what you're dealing with, I'll tell you some fuzzy details. There will be a group plot, followed by individual battle, and all Shattered will be able to do so (yes even the widdle babies. xD)
So please post all your opinions here! And remember no one is wrong in their opinion, but please remember to be civil and positive! Negative comments aren't constructive.

I'll actually be gone for about a week out of every month, for the next three months! XD; I'd love to participate while I'm here, though, and a new 'option' path or plot wise would be another cool incentive!

I think it's interesting, but I'm a bit leery of metaplots since Fa'e HQ. That metaplot has gotten rather scarey with how much it washes over everything.
I'd love to know more and am interested in participating. My only thing is that I'm moving in late December so my net access will be up to guessing. I'm trying to convince my father to upgrade (since I'm moving back home, ick) so that I can do some of my net work here.

Yeah I kind of want this to be a not-too-long term, one time only metaplot. Which is why participation and being able to actually continue participating are what's important to me methinks.

Yes, yes and honkface.
I would probably try to participate anytime, but I put "more winter than now" because this web design class I'm taking along with a 40-hour work week is really chafing my naughty parts.
Also, I would like to second (third, eighth) the whole "not lasting forever" thing. As much as I LOVE Tall Tales to the very core of my being (no srsly i love it and i understand this has been beyond their control heart ), Sylvester has had to be emo for far too long to be involved in metaplottage. He's supposed to be a happy plushie, damnit. emo

I'd participate, but for how long depends. How interesting will you make this metaplot? Is it what we've been waiting for? Personally, as far as individual rp goes, I'm not sure on what limits I can take my shattered on every-day-excursions. Therefore roleplay tends to... be lacking a bit, you end up with 'hi hi', because no one is really sure how far they can go or take things... will the metaplot make it worth it? biggrin
I'd love to participate, and winter would be your better bet where I'm concerned.

It's definitely looking like winter's going to be our goal so far. I want to know if anyone has a real problem with winter though.. hopefully not!
edit: And every single response so far has helped the screws in my head turn faster. This is making me very happy. heart

I can participate.
Just be aware that life likes to drag me into dark closets and do horrid things to me.
I'll of course drop warnings/notices if and when that happens (and it is possible for me to do so).
I usually find a way somehow, somewhere, to tell someone.
..That's a lot of some.

I'd love to participate.
Hopefully, though, end-of-the-quarter exams and stuff won't pwn my sorry a** in January the same as this time around.
But yeah, I'd participate. I'd walk through rain and sleet and snow and hail and thunder and lightning and firestorm and volcanic erruption--
...yup.
I really can't comment on the not-long-term part, because I've not really been a part of a bc shop that had metaplots before.

I'd love to participate. I've been hoping for a metaplot~! heart
December isn't really a good month for me. Christmas is my busy time of year, especially if I make it into the next show during Christmas break. January appears to be clear...but it's not even November yet so I dunno. <<;

I'll totally participate. Hopefully I'll get Joce's journal filled out with what I want by then. :B
But only on weekends, you know, 'cause those are the only times I'm around usually...unless I go to my dad's for Christmas this year. Awesome.
I'M A METAPLOT VIRGIN. :V
