SPOILER WARNING!!
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.
It is now two years since the Meteor conflict, in which Cloud, Tifa, Barret and the other members of AVALANCHE valiantly fought against Sephiroth to prevent his plan of becoming a god and destroying all that exists in the process. All the heroes have gone their separate ways, living their lives in whatever way they could. Barret is researching new resources for energy, Reeve is rebuilding with the assistance of the World Restoration Organization (WRO), and Tifa has reopened her bar "Seventh Heaven" in the city of Edge, which doubles as an orphanage. Cloud himself runs a delivery service, travelling across Gaia with his personally customized motorcycle, Fenrir.

However, not all is well after Sephiroth's defeat. Cloud is constantly plagued by the guilt he feels for both Aerith's and Zack's deaths, blaming himself for not being able to do anything. Cloud is, in turn, unintentionally hurting Tifa, Marlene, Denzel, and the others by ignoring them and losing himself in this guilt. Geostigma, a disease which has claimed the lives of many, most particularly children, has been spreading across the world. Denzel himself is infected, and like other infected individuals, bleeds a 'black liquid' from the sores that develop on his body. Those who somehow develop the illness are doomed to die, and there is little hope for the children that have it.

On a cool, cloudy morning in the outskirts of Midgar, Cloud is attacked by two strange silver haired youths. A third rests atop a cliff, the same one where Zack was murdered by Shinra MPs. What is it about these three young men, who look so similar to a certain General of long times past? And what is their relationship to Geostigma, and that of Jenova?

Cloud, despite feeling unsure of himself from past events, moves forward. For Tifa, the children, and himself.

Before Crisis Info.

The above site is totally in Japonesse so you'll have to use your naviagiton skills.

Before Crisis Info
Before Crisis is a prequel to the Playstation game Final Fantasy VII on the format of a mobile phone. Taking place seven years before the game's original storyline, you play as one of many Turks in the Shinra corporation, each with their own strengths, abilities, weaknesses, and weapons. You are fighting against the original AVALANCHE, in which Barret, Jesse, Biggs and Wedge were NOT participants of. The game's timeline actually moves forward until about a year or so before the actual game by the time it ends. Over the course of the game, you get to see many familiar faces, including all the AVALANCHE members from the original game (Cloud and the others) in addition to Shinra executives who barely received any screentime, if any at all.

The story goes deeper into the events that occured before the original game's timeline, such as what Wutai was undergoing after losing the war against Shinra, what had happened immediately before, during, and after the burning down of Nibelheim (shedding light on what Shinra had done as a result of that incident) as well as showing what AVALANCHE had been doing before Barret had restarted it. It shows that neither Shinra nor AVALANCHE were truly 'good,' but neither were they the epitome of evil.

To use materia, you must use the phone's digital camera to take pictures. Depending on the main color from the picture, you'll end up with a different materia. A picture that is primarily white will give you a curative materia, whereas a black one will get you the comet materia.

In addition, there is also a scenario where you can search for the Jade Weapon, which has appeared not long after the defeat of the game's final boss. You can also fight other players in the Gold Saucer's Battle Sqare.

Before Crisis' final chapter was released on March 31, 2006 in Japan. No actual release date is given, but resources suggest that it is likely to be in the U.S. some time, possibly sometime in the final quarter of 2006.

What phone it'll be released on, though, is still in question.

Crisis Core Info.

Crisis Core Sites
http://www.gamespot.com/psp/rpg/crisiscorefinalfantasyvii/
http://psp.ign.com/objects/711/711340.html?fromint=1

Information
Crisis Core, like Before Crisis, will be a prequel to the original Final Fantasy VII game. However, this time around you actually play as Zack, the Soldier who befriends Cloud and tragically loses his life as they try to escape to Midgar. Designed to operate on the Playstation Portable, the game is an RPG, delving deeper into Zack's side of the story in the events that eventually led up to the Nibelheim incident. Sephiroth and Tseng have already appeared, as well as a mysterious character originally introduced in Dirge of Cerberus. Cloud also makes an appearance, and it has been hinted that Aerith will play a role in the story, with some light possibly being shed on her relationship with Zack. Not much else is known at the moment, since it is still in development.

Dirge of Cerberus Info.

Dirge of Cerberus Sites
http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?method=4&dsid=2222&dekey=Dirge+of+Cerberus:+Final+Fantasy+VII&gwp=8&curtab=2222_1

Information
Three years after the events of the original game, Dirge of Cerberus shows that, even after the previous year's events with Sephiroth's renmants, there is still much trouble brewing from what was left of Shinra. Deep Ground, a group of dangerous soldiers trapped deep within the bowels of Midgar after Meteor's fall, have finally surfaced, hell bent on destroying the world that still struggles for peace and normalcy. With the recent attacks and massive disappearances of many civilians, Reeve Tuesti, how heading the World Restoration Organization, has called for the aid of one Vincent Valentine.

At first you see Vincent resting in his hotel room in Kalm, after which screams and explosions erupt outside. Vincent finds, upon further inspection, that the Deep Ground soldiers have arrived, wreaking chaos upon the civilians. Once again, Vincent must take up arms and defend both himself and all the world holds dear. Throughout the game, he finds out that he's got a rather personal connection with what is going on, much of it linked to him through one Dr. Lucrecia Crescent...

Each of the Final Fantasy VII characters, minus a certain flower girl, make at least one cameo appearance, some even fighting for the cause, and others as a brief moment on screen. Reeve, Yuffie, and Cait Sith hold the most prominent roles.

Dirge of Cerberus is labeled as a third person shooter roleplaying game, and despite many of the poor reviews in Japan, has been heavily updated for it's U.S. release. It's available now in stores now, so if you feel that you're done waiting, then drop by your local game store to pick it up.

Screens have just came out of Yuffie and Cait Sith

Reserved for Info. about the FFVII Technical Demo for the PS3 shown at E3 in 2005

The Aerith Revival rumors have been repeatedly proven false, as this one might be in the future. However, the Tech Demo was not done for free, though, mind you. Square-Enix spent a lot of time and money making that baby, and it was to make the PS3 look good, so that when they DO make games for it, people will actually own the PS3 because they saw it's amazing abilities through a tech demo. You know, it's a marketing ploy. Square-Enix has repeatedly told the public that they are NOT making a remake as of now, because they have way too many projects to do right now (the whole 'Compilation' project in particular is eating up a lot of their time and money). However, they said that the chances of Final Fantasy VII being remade for the PS3 is not impossible. That means that there's still a chance that it'll get remade, but as of now, don't expect it to happen any time soon.

There's another FFVII based site. it's
www.ff7citadel.com
It has some spoilers and walkthroughs and dowloads. It's pretty sweet. There's info about AC, DoC, and BC that's probably been ripped off from other sites. biggrin
