((This is a private RP area for Sophie and LorNar. Please don't post unless Trelweny or I invite you.))
Sophie stretched and climbed down from the trees, glancing around at the clearing where she and LorNar had met up just a couple of days before. She'd had to go home again since then, and they hadn't ironed out the details yet, but she had come back early to look for him. A short nap in the trees had been enough to refresh her so she could climb back down to wait.

He still did not really understand what he was feeling. Trelweny said he would soon enough, that he just did not have enough experience socially to have the words to explain it. But visiting Trel's family -especially seeing Remus with his daughter Liliana- always seemed to heighten the fiery male's desire to spend time with Sophie.
He swung through the trees with single-minded purpose. They had spoken about sharing homes... but he had not been quite ready to follow the pink female to Merrihop's house. Now... now he did not care. He would go with Sophie when she left. Anything to see her... to be with her...
Spotting her in "their" clearing ahead his russet eyes lit up happily. Gently but enthusiastically he tackled her, licking her cheek happily. "Sophie! Oh Sophers! I've missed you!"

Sophie squealed in surprise and tumbled a ways before the familiar scent of LorNar registered with her. Then she began laughing and squirmed to nuzzle him, "LorNar! I missed you too! How are you doing? Have you been ok?" She clambered to her feet and started cuddling on the orange male as if she'd never have another chance, "I went back home, and I moved my basket to the living room so we can sleep out there if you like. It's in a cozy spot beside the couch, under the end table. Oh I hope you like it..." She was babbling in a way she never did, but then she'd never dealt with the prospect of bringing a male into her home to stay for any length of time, "There's even a tablecloth, so if we want it'll be dark and we can hide out there if we wanna be alone, and the twins probably don't know about that spot yet, so they won't come wake us up in the morning..." She swished her tail happily. She'd missed LorNar so...

He licked her face, grinning inanely as Sophie chattered. Ah, it was so good to hear her voice again! Wrapping his legs around her LorNar leaned back on his coiled tail, holding them both up as he held her close to him with fierce tenderness.
Then he giggled. "As long as it's with you, it's perfect Sophers."

Sophie squealed and held tight to LorNar, then blinked a bit and snuggled him, "I'm glad... I just want to make sure you're comfortable. I'm sure everyone will love you. Merri's seen you, and she says she thinks you're cute." She rested her head against the orange male's chest, purring quietly, "But of course, so do I."

He chuckled. "I'm cute?" Making a silly face LorNar rubbed noses with her. "That's good, right?"
They bounced the tiniest bit, back & forth, on his tail & he nuzzled the top on her head softly just enjoying the moment. Somehow, her added weight did not make this position any more difficult. "I'm comfortable when you're close Sophie. As long as you'recomfortable. And safe."

Sophie laughed and nodded, "Yah... cute is very good. I thought you were cute the first time we met..." She nuzzled uner his chin and shut her eyes, "And I'm comfortable as long as we're together." She fluffed her tail up and curled it close to herself and LorNar, "I'm sure if the twins saw this they'd accuse us of being all "lovey dovey" and "gross". She giggled a bit, thinking of her two newst siblings.

Lovey-dovey? LorNar did not know what it meant but it sounded silly. He snuggled Sophie closer to him. "I don't think there's anything silly about wanting to be around someone that makes you feel good. And certainly nothing gross about it." He laughed gently. "Gross we're not. I'll set 'em straight when I meet them."
Then he blinks. "Wait... twins?" He knew Sophie had been mentioning twins but he only just now realized he knew nothing about them.

Sophie giggled, "Well they're just pups, so they think anything sweet we adults do is gross.... But yah, Merri calls them the 'twins' because she got them both together, and they have the same eyes, but they look different. Sebastian's colored like the night sky, and Sitara has stars all over her rump. But they're definitely related, always playing together..." She chuckled and rested her head back against LorNar's shoulder, gesturing softly with her paws.

"huh. I only met Kajoon while I was a pup, so I guess I just don't understand." The fiery male licked at Sophie's head, grooming her. "Maybe they'll grow out of it?"

Sophie chuckled, then nodded, "I'm sure they will, once that curse is broken and they grow to adults, I'm sure. Someday they'll fall in love and nothing will seem nearly as icky as it does to them now..." She smiled dreamily, resting on LorNar's vivid shoulder, staring up at the sky... not even sure if her statement had seemed anything more than an observation.

His ears flicked as they always did when LorNar's thoughts whirled within his head. "Love? Curse?" He had vague notions of what those words meant. "What kind of curse are they under? One that need's true love's first kiss?"
The last something that came to mind from the stories Trel liked to read aloud to her son at night.

Sophie tilted her head, then chuckled a bit, "I'm not sure what kind of curse it is... I just know they won't grow to be adults until it's broken. But I hope it's broken eventually.... But I'm not sure it will be something as clear cut as true love's first kiss... I'm not even sure that I could even figure out what true love was when I was a pup... But I may just be an old fuddy duddy..." She tilted her pink ears at LorNar, smiling sweetly.

"You're no fuddy duddy, Sophers." He batted at her tilted ear with a playful look in his eye. "I still haven't figured anything out about what true love is." The fiery orange male chuckled lightly. "It's just something I heard from Trelweny."
LorNar let his tail relax gently, getting upright again & setting them both on their back feet. "I never felt cursed as a pup. Lonely sometimes... but not cursed."

Sophie smiled and nuzzled under LorNar's neck, "Well you don't have to be lonely anymore..." She flicked an ear, then sat down beside him and continued to cuddle up to the firey male.
