Other than Smash Bros, were there any really competitve fighters for the N64? Mortal Kombat Trilogy was just broken and lame, and then biofreaks was just terrible.

So I ask you, what games are great for fighting on the N64?

Really? I kinda liked MK Trilogy! sweatdrop The one on N64 anyway, the PSX version constantly froze. N64 wasn't really notorious for it's fighters, but there's always a fan following of any fighter, no matter how bad, so depending on who's perspective you're looking through you might say anything was a great fighter. Alot of people loved Killer Instinct, but I thought it was a far more broken game than MK Trilogy.

Yeah, killer instinct 2 was pretty crazy.

Oh god, they weren't even on screen anymore! I've never even seen that before gonk

Oh yeah, I was looking through VG Museum to see a list of the fighting games and I found that old game Battle Tanx! Anyone else remember the old commercial to that? The one that made fun of that snuggle bear from the detergeant commercials? By the end it was missing like half it's face and a couple limbs while running for sweet life!

Clayfighers was one of my favorite fighting game series....>_>

But yeah, there really wasn't many good fighters on the N64. I do remember one game, though, that I used to play. One of the fighters was a cow called "Mou" and I just couldn't beat the b*****d..

actually. The real garbage, is that there were three.

HOLY ******** didn't fix it all until Director's cut.
That one was only available from Blockbuster.
Earthworm Jim was pretty cool though. Kinda missed him.

Yup, fighting games for N64 = Terrible.
I dont know which ones I liked other than uummmm
Smash Bros.
