Mark andRoger are discussing how Allison found out about Mimi. Didn't they make up with Benny in the end, though? Why would they be happy that happened to him if they're friends again? And Collins adds "Maybe Angel [told her]." How and why would Angel tell Alison?
I also don't get the significance of the phrase "Today for you, tomorrow for me." redface

I think the line "... or an Angel" was a more symbolic thing than a literal thing.
I don't think Mark and Roger could ever fully make up with Benny, he abandoned them (in their eyes).
"Today for you, Tomorrow for me" - I get the first part "Today for you" Angel is being generous, but she always is, so I don't get the "Tomorrow for me" part. Maybe it just rhymed?

The best I got out of it is that the moral of Rent is no day but today, so Angel's being generous...she's saying her friends get today, which is all there is, and she gets tomorrow, which might never come.

I kind of get the today for you thing. Angel's being generous and giving items today, but tomorrow if she's down in the dumps she hopes that they'll be generous to her.
