and my dad come home and knocks on the door and says "son, I can smell it" and has that ashamed look on his face.

So either I get in trouble for lying when I tell him I didn't do anything, or I get in trouble for doing drugs if I decide to not argue.

Basically screwed here.

Based on your father's response. He seems a stubborn man, unwilling to reason otherwise that may make him look wrong or weak.

I think it's safe to assume, you smoke or have smoked before. Otherwise your father wouldn't make a false accusation. Would he?

Blame Sherlock Holmes xDD

I have his whole series, from beginings to death of Mr. Holmes in a hard-covered 800 pages full of golden outlining ;D

I should take a picture of some my collections from Harvard (I think they're Harvard :3)

I have never smoked in my entire life. My Dad just likes to assume the worst, he seems to think that because my Brother smoked then I MUST smoke too. But I don't. If he smelt anything it would have been a candle.

Then you haven't made it clear to him that you have no relation with your brother besides having the same blood.

Often times younger brothers imitate the habits of older brothers. Even when they matured enough to obtain a conscience. Although the idea we try to convince ourselves that we are nothing like our siblings. Some similarities just cannot be avoided, but simply pointing out.

Your father's paranoid, but just doesn't want his son to slip up like his older one. To be ready to catch him before he even though of being plunged into bad habits.

I think this is a situation where you have to take a deep breath and tell the truth.
