I sort of practice it but moreso I fell into it... I wasn't looking to include it in my practice, it just happened. First it was with the element of Fire... it just wanted to take a draconic form. Who was I to argue with it? During some other ritual it might be a fox, a demon... who knows? I've been semi-obsessed with dragons since I was cognizant, though. The way I see it, though, they were just the logical forms that magical workings would take for me since I'm comfortable with them. Are they actually dragons? Better yet, is anything I do in the otherworlds real in terms of visualization and ritual? What is real? The otherworlds are quite real, but I wouldn't say they're real in the sense that most people mean by real (ie, falsifiable via empirical testing).
I think some people work with something like dragons for the power trip and that's too bad. They are powerful fantasy icons just like unicorns, the fae, griffons, and other commonly known fantasy creatures. Likely it is the more common acceptance of these creatures by mainstream culture that gives them a bit more power than some of the more obscure occult critters.

Exactly. Actually funny thing..
I bought my necklace and it had a dragon on it (Its a pentacle with a dragon around the outside ring.) And I was so thrilled to see that it could be used for something more unique.

I think that you would get more power using a well known figure like a dragon. I do believe in them but like starlock said not in the origional sence of reality but as ar as reality goes im not really ever sure if what i think is physical is real. I have alot of strange views concerning reality. But back to the topic
I dont use dragon magic i have heard that dragons are a form of Demons from a few otherkin but i dont really believe that. What i do know is that real or not they can be the focus of alot of energy and power and when you work with dragons your going to want to be respectful and with anything related to magic careful anything your asking something of you dont want to piss off this goes with goddess gods spirits demons or anything else that helps you chanel the energy you need. I dont like working with other beings because some can be very tempermental and i can chanel the energy i need out of well umm sex my boyfriend dosnt know i do it but i have talked to him about sex magic and he didnt seem oposed to the idea.

Yes. I prefer to ask for help on clarity with my Tarot readings from higher beings (I guess) But I have not had the need to do a spell and I really wouldn't ask for help on something mediocre(sp) Such as love,luck,money spells because they are only matirial things in my view. Protection is another story in which I would enlist the help of both the Lord and Lady and Dragons.
I've read the pages further then the first on the link (I posted it to help get a better view of what I'm talking about) and It seems confusing to me to have more then one dragon since I am only wanting a sort of overall protection.
Now this is off subject, but to those who know about this (And there are alot of you) Would dragons be considered as a form of guide, or more of a help in Phycic (Sp?) works such as Tarot readings, and spell work?
