Hope flew into a tree and sat on a branch. She scanned the horizon for any of her friends. Hope didn't see anyone so she started to lick her wings.

Miriam snorted and looked up at Hope. "Hey, you up there!" No answer. She shook the tree in hopes of knocking Hope [[ get it? xD Hopes of knocking hope? Eehh.. ]] off the branch. She failed, of course; the tree wouldn't even budge.
Not giving up, Miriam found a nicely-sized acorn and chucked it at Hope with a giggle.

Hope lost he balance but caught herself on a branch. "Why did you do that? I could have gotten hurt!
Hope flew back up her branch she was sitting on before looking for more friends beside Miriam.

"Miriam is always mean. Didn't you know!?" Onitenma snickered as he came up beside him.
