You guys can share you donater stories here, or even your donating stories.
I have donated over 100k in gold and thousands in Items.
I have juat recently been donated to, because I got hacked a month or so ago, because I cant donate to the site, and on person donated to my quest a while back.

I've donated a few items, mostly letters and whats in them to people I know smile I don't tend to recieve well a PM begging for items...

I used to have a "charity" in my sig where I noted that I randomly gave out gold and/or items to people who I deemed worthy. I never knew people on Gaia could be so greedy!! gonk Within a week I had more than 50 PMs begging for stuff - when my sig specifically noted that I didn't donate to beggers or brown-nosers.
I couldn't help it for one person, though. His PM just amused me to no end - he was begging in perfect grammer and spelling and even said please and thank you at the end. I just couldn't stop laughing so I gave him 200g. xd

I don't normally donate to people because they usually seem like they are begging a lot for pixels. However, if I think a signature is funny or I like it, I'll donate. 3nodding
Surprisingly no one has sent me ANY PM begging for gold or whatevah. eek

Donaters are ammazing people.
The mostest amazing ones though, would have to be the Gaia sugar daddies. I have had the chance to expirence a few of them, one being amazing to me, some asking nothing in return some asking simple favors.
But they are honestly sweet people on gaia that understand having gold isnt evrything and take time out of their day to make someone else happy.
Mine spoiled me rotten, I had to get him to take a break cause I figred I was taking advantage of him and didnt want to be like that. He wants to start the "relationship" back up on my bday.

I don't donate much on here, because i feel that we had to work for gold, why should some one just start a thread on Gd asking for like a 1000g
I'm trying to save at least 50 000 gold at the minute for a musketer hat and guild, trading pass, mine and my bfs house and i'd like to buy him a witches cape if i can afford it not to long after
So once i've accomplised that THEN i'll donate
lol only donated 200 g on here cus i wasn't sure what to do, or how to get on this board redface
I donate in real life because that has meaning to it

Wanna hear a ******** up Donater story? Okie! I was friends with this girl I met on habbohotel.com and I introduced her to Gaia like last October and in september the glitch occurred and it ate all my stuff including a brand new nightmare scarf I had just bought that day for 74k anyways she decided to donate like thousands of dollars to Gaia and gave me a nm scarf, an angelic sash, an angelic scarf, fairy wings, golden laurels, etc. Well I was so grateful until I got hacked. My name had been changed and my stuff was all gone and I checked my trades and the only one was to her account. Anyways I pmed her saying I told you if you wanted it back you could have it that it was the thought that counted why would you destroy my account and steal stuff I worked for? Well she didn't answer the pile of pms I sent her over the next week or so, so I finally decided to get a mod involved. I explained that I waited so long hoping it was just my friends nasty humor playing a joke but the mod said it didn't look like a joke and she had my items returned and had my friend banned. Well my friend had finally pmed me saying she didn't hack me. I said so I'm suppose to believe you over the mod who found my items in your inventory? Well she made up lame excuses and got banned. Well not to long later all my accounts except one get banned and turns out my so called friend did credit card fraud and L0cke had to prove I wasn't involved and once he did he unbanned all my accounts. And he let me keep all the items the so called friend had given me. Needless to say donations should be taken carefully. Especially when not to long after this event a bunch of Gaians were banned for recieving glitched gold as donations. neutral

Uh oh... Thats reallly bad I can't believe someone would do that!
I'd better be careful with my donations to you Kazlyn then as i donate on a regular basis at the moment. Don't want it to look suspicious.
