The Man Named Zeck

Chapter I - Early Childhood
The year was 0068UC. The leader of the Republic of Zeon named Zeon Zum Deikun, had just died under suspicious circumstances, and was succeeded by Degwin Sodo Zabi as the new leader of Zeon. The Federation military had just finished with a massive arms build up. Developement of weapons known as Mobile Suits had not yet begun, and the Earth was in a semi-state of silence and peace.

On a small farmland on Earth there lived an average family of four. A mother, a father, a younger sister, and an older brother. The younger sister was only 8, and the older brother was 12. The older brother always looked out for his younger sister, and they got along very well. This family was known as the Hughes family, and yes the older brother was indeed named Zeck. Zeck's sister was named Beth.

Their family was very loving. They had a great life, void of the troubles of the world. Zeck and Beth would play in the orchids in the spring and summer, and would help their father harvesting the crops in Atumn. In the winter they would often go into town with their father to watch movies, and play in the park with the other children building snowmen.

One winter day Zeck's father was drafted into the Federation army, and although Zeck didn't realize it at the time; he would never see him again.

Zeck's family did not have the manpower to keep the farm running since his father had joined the military, however a steady stream of checks from Zeck's father kept their family living.


A year passed, and the Republic of Zeon became the Principality of Zeon as Degwin Sodo Zabi declared himself sovereign. Followers of the late Zeon Zum Deikun were executed by Zabi.

In the spring of the next year- 0070 UC. The Federation began construction of Salamis and Magellan class space warships to counter Zeon's new Chivvay class ships and Minovsky weaponry.

The same year Zeck's mother died of pneumonia, and without their father around; both Beth and Zeck were put in foster care. Sadly the two of them became seperated, and Zeck's foster family moved to Side 3 which was under the control of Zeon.

Chapter III - Limited Outcomes
A future war between the Principality of Zeon, and the Federation became obvious. The only questions were; when it would start, and who would fire the first shot. In 0076 UC, Zeon began development of specialized land and sea mobile suits in anticipation of a possible Federation invasion.

Zeck Hughes continued to fine tune his skills for the day when the Federation would attack, and he would be required to protect his nation. His skills did not go unnoticed, and the rank of 2nd Lieutenant was bestowed upon him.

U.C. 0078. The Principality of Zeon began mass production of a new model of mobile suit, the MS-06 Zaku II. The main forces of Zeon were upgraded to the newer and better Zaku II's. Zeon announced their state of national mobilization, and the Zeon military was divided into the Space Attack force and the Mobile Assault Force.

Zeck joined the front line in preperation of the war.

Chapter V - Madness
For monthes scientists ran tests on Hughes. They began to develop gene therapy to attempt to alter his DNA and make him superior to the average human. Using studies on newtypes they managed to enhance Zeck's skills. His progress was outstanding. Every treatment saw Zeck's skills enhance ten fold.

After a couple monthes Zeck began to hear slight whispers, see things that a normal human shouldn't see, and slight cases of ESP. He was also becoming extremly healthier and stronger.

Zeck ignored the whispers in his head, and kept them to himself assuming it was just stress. The slight whispers began to grow louder and louder. He didn't inform the scientists, and grew paranoid. He managed to act like there was nothing wrong, and in the eyes of the scientists he was still in satisfactory condition and in control of himself; so they continued with the experiments.

During the night after he fell asleep he would sneak out of his quatres and to the lab, where he would perform experiments on himself. Experiments the scientists knew nothing about, and he knew nothing about either. He had developed a multiple personality, and at night when he went to bed it emmerged and controlled his body without him knowing. The experiments were an attempt to supress Zeck's origonal personality.

One day the voice in his head spoke to him, clearer than his own thoughts. Zeck Hughes was actually able to understand what the voice was saying. He tried to resist, but he had no control over his body. The new personality drowned his old thoughts, and took complete control of his body.

Zeck Hughes killed the guards and scientists with his super strength and hijacked a nearby Adzam.


The Undead Warrior had been born.
