Prem quietly padded into the ancient part of the rainforest known as the Thousand Year Trees. As his eyes traveled about the area, he felt a little uneasy at all the large trees looming above him. That unease was put to rest when the Faeth realized that there was plenty of space between the trees for easy flight maneuverability, that is... beneath the canopy. With a little smile on his face and his fears eased just a bit, the peach-faced Faeth spread his wings and launched into the sky, purring softly as the wind brushed through his fur and feathers.

As he was flying beneath the canopy, Prem spotted a bunch of red-colored fruits and soared down to inspect them. Perking his ears forward, the Faeth nudged one of the berry-like fruits with a paw, managing to hook a claw into one accidentally and making it burst with juice. This caused him to jump and utter a startled chirp, but it amused him at the same time. He popped another of the fruits, only this time with his teeth so he could taste the juice. As he leaned in, he pressed a little too hard against a couple of the other berries and they exploded as well leaving his peach-colored mane a mess of sticky berry juice. Settling back on his haunches, Prem chuckled and began grooming his fur of the interesting fruit. Once that was finished, he took to the air again to explore more of this new place, another light song fluttering serenely from his throat.

"Hmm?" Prem cooed, interrupting his song as he noticed something bright flitting through the branches above him. He watched it for a few moments before flying up into the branches and foldinghis wings back to land. To his surprise and delight, the branches of these trees were thicker and sturdier than the branches in other parts of the forest, and he felt more secure settling his weight on them. Pleased with yet another discovery about this new place, Prem began jumping from branch to branch, looking for the white creature that he had glimpsed, and before long he found her settled comfortably on a branch with an interesting-looking fruit in her paws. Carefully, he made his way over to her, his nose twitching as he caught whiffs of the fruit's sweet scent. "Hello, there!" He chirped brightly, announcing his presence to the female before he spooked her.

Prem smiled at Kendis and bowed his head before moving over to the fruits and grabbing one for himself. Turning back to her, he settled on the branch, allowing his fluffy tail to dangle off the back of it. "Thank you, my name is Prem!" He returned the greeting, taking a bite of the fruit and purring at discovering another new food that was delicious. Swallowing the bit, he tilted his head slightly and chirped curiously to the White and purple Faeth, "I don't believe I've seen you around before; Are you new... or have I just been oblivious..." As he said it, Prem felt that the latter would probably be most probable as he had been quite aloof lately.

Taking care to follow Kendis's advice about the seeds, Prem began placing them beside himself on the branch as he at too. He flicked his tail and glanced up into the canopy, thinking aloud, "Hmm... Did Lina mention getting another sister last time I saw her?" He couldn't recall that she had, but he was pleased to learn that she was related to two of his friends, and he nodded his head to her. "It's nice to meet you as well." He chirped, ducking his head slightly as his eyes swept over the ancient rainforest, "Erm... You can probably tell, but this is my first time visiting this place..." Somehow, he felt awkward admitting that. If this was Kendis's home, he wondered if there were other Faeth here as well... if he was supposed to be here.

Prem had also finished his fruit and gave Kendis an uncomfortable look at her mention of not being able to see the ground. Unconciously he unsheathed his claws, clenching his own branch with them as the female rolled so effortlessly on her branch, totally comfortable with trees and the height. "Y-yea! I.. I think I really like it here too!" He chittered, watching her nervously, "Umm.. Please be careful, Kendis!" His tail flickered rapidly back and forth as he worried about either of them falling from this height.

Prem felt his energy drain out as his breath caught in his throat at Kendis's fall off the branch. Even though she saved herself by using her wings, the green Faeth didn't feel much better. His eyes fluttering half-closed, he laid his head on the branch between his paws and sighed with some relief at least. "I'm sorry... I never was too good at climbing trees... so being in such large ones still makes me nervous. At least I got flying down pretty well though.." Chuckling to himself, he dangled one paw a little ways off the branch to paw at a hanging vine. "So, aside from huge trees and delicious fruit, what else can be found in this part of the forest, Kendis??" He chittered curiously, pushing the tree he was on out of his mind. If he fell, he'd just flap his wings like Kendis did, right?
