We have a ridiculous number of announcements and stickies. You know that?
Anyway...
There are still a lot of people interested in joining the GIB. I am toying with the idea of re-opening admissions, but...
Our organization is already pretty big. It'll just become more cumbersome if it's expanded. Also, now that I'm back in class, I simply don't have time to go through reveiwing, accepting, and adding every single gaian that thinks we're a neat idea. (In fact, I probably shouldn't be on here at all, but I'm telling myself it's just for a week or so. >.<)
So, here's the thread to voice you opinions on whether we should re-open the guild to new members, how we could do it to make it manageable, screening processes, etc.
I'll be intersted to hear your ideas.

While there is strength in numbers, unfortunately most of those wishing to join have little idea what the GIB is really about. From what I have seen around the forums, the general population continues to believe the organization is anti-alien & hostile, an image other agents have unsuccessfully tried to disuade. What would we gain by allowing these people to join? Nothing. That's what.
Not to mention there are still those "rogue" agents who slipped in before the security tightened. I understand certain measurements are being taken against them, but I imagine it may take some heavy work to undo the damage they've already done.

I believe that until we've made sure that all agents have proved to be okay that we shouldn't re-open new membership.
Once that is done, then we can go ahead and screen all those that want to become members.

review ones that want to get in, if they fit the profile and have no hostility to aliens then let em in

I say let 5 qualifed members join every two days until halloween and then no longer let anyone in.
