Hello everyone! My name is Alpine. My favorite hobby is playing guitar. Here is the strange story about how I came to like U2. I've been hearing U2's songs since I was born since they have been around so long, but I never really liked or disliked them, in fact I didn't give there songs a second thought. I saw a music video for Elevation when it came out a few years ago and I thought it was cool and that the song was cool too. Every time I heard it, it got stuck in my head and I would end up singing it ALL DAY! So my friend told me it was my theme song. I then listened to the CD because my friend insisted on playing my theme song..then we listened to the older albums. I realized that I already knew all the old songs and never thought about it. For some reason I LOVED those songs where as I didn't care about them before.

I came to know U2 just by hearing my mom's CDs and falling in love with the band. That's basically it. xd

I dont know how it happend really........When i first started to really like them i heard a beauttiful day and like it the i heard stuck in amoment you cant get out of andBAM!!!!!! its liek they cumsumed me!!!! o.oand its like they changed me my heart and soul and beliefs....i dont know know where i would be with out them...i o my life to their music..i know it sounds stupid and obessed but ..i aint gunna lie.....-_- 3nodding ALL HAIL U2 THE ROCKS GODS!!!!

I'm Jamie, I'm fifteen and I'm an alcoholic. Well..that last one is lie but my intro sounded a tad AA.
I came upon U2 at an early age upon hearing With or Without you on the radio and my mom telling me about them. I've been a fan of theirs for a long time unknowingly because I didn't know some of my favorite songs were by them. Over the past couple years I've become completely hooked.

Anyhoo, I came to like them like Polaroid did.
The radio station my mom used to listen to all the time played U2 occasionally, especially With or Without You. Except neither me or my mom knew that it was U2.
Eventually, once I started downloading music, I found out that it was by U2, and I began downloading some more U2. First U2 song I downloaded was Staring at the Sun. xD

Hi there, I'm Marissa..aka Missangelina on Gaia. I'm 18 and have been in love with U2 since the womb...technically. My mom listened to them while she was preggers with me and I used to kick to it whee
I have always been a fan of U2, but I will never forget the moment that I became a true die-hard fan. It was the beginning of grade 9 and I was watching my friends DVD of one of U2's concerts (I'm pretty positive it was "Under A Blood Red Sky") and they started playing Sunday Bloody Sunday live and I got the chills and was completely zoned out. It was in those few minutes that I thought to myself..."Holy s**t, this is the best band in the world." And ever since that fateful day, no band has made me feel the same way about music that these Irish wonders have. I'm sure all of you fellow U2 fans understand...it's that feeling of pure happiness or that you could pop in a U2 album and all your troubles seem to (i know it's cheesy) fade away.
I'm going to see them for the first time LIVE IN CONCERT xd on November 25th, 2005...I do believe (until I get married or have kids) I'll probably be able to mark that down as the best day of my life.
I can't wait to get to know all of you U2 fans even better than I know some of you now.

Okay, okay so I had a little bit 'a extra sugar today. mrgreen Hey guys, this guild's awesome, ain't it. I know I made an extensive statement about this incredible band when I poked my nose into the music forum but I didn't really talk about myself that much.
So yeah...my name's Maria, I'm a 19-year old Latina (Mexican) girl. I live in sunny California, USA with my parents, three adorable kitties, and a bunch of animated characters. xp I'm a cartoonist & writer, and I'm currently a college freshman who's aiming for a MFA in Animation.
My goal in life is to make my own animated films, and music is one of the things that fuel my imagination xd I grew up listening to my parents' music, or rock from the 60's 70's and 80's, and among those amazing bands is the one and only U2! THANK YOU LADS FOR STEALING MY HEART! <3 Like Ryo said, I don't know what I'd do without U2. I'm glad that I found you guys, it's truly a gift being able to share our love for this band together. You all rawk & I'm so grateful for having great friends like you. ^_^ heart

Well...
I'm ThePizzaGuy,also hailing from California.I love mostly '70s and '80s rock,from slower stuff to all out heavy metal.I play drums,and I like to write and draw alot.Umm...I have a Beagle named Kelly who kicks major a**.Um,I like alot of funny stoner/rock flicks like Waynes World and Spinal Tap.Basically,I got into U2 when I bought their Best Of 1980 - 1990 album about a month ago.
Anything else?

well, hi everyone, I'm the new one ! lol. I've always been a U2 fan because my parents used to listen to U2 when I was a baby so what can I sai? I grown up in classic rock and U2. I love mostly theyr classic style, but the new album, vertigo, is still awesome !
As in: "personal" information, I'm Selenite (duuh ..) but peaple call me Aya, I'm living in Montreal, in Canada. I'm an artist and I'm a music lover. I love most of the style ( yeah, even grunge ... lolz) and my personnal favorit are punk, rock, classic rock, rap ( yeah, I really said rap as in: rap xd ). My style... is my style, I wear what I want, don't try to tell me what to do !! lolz. ..... think that's all for the moment .. mrgreen

I have known about U2 for some time, I only started liking them fairly recentley( mainly due to bono VOx talking about them at shool all the bloody time) But their my fellow countrymen so i gotta support them. smile

hi im austin and im 13 and u2 is my favorite band i dont knowwhen i started liking u2 i just always have my favorite album is joshua tree, all of there songs are good but i especially like "somedays are better than others" and "all because if you"
