Inari was out on the borders again, where was he? Mrost had said when Inari needed to find him, Mrost would be there, was Inari forgetting to do something the god has asked? Perhaps, but Inari had gotten all the information he could darn it! So why wasn't he showing? His golden eyes looked over everything, he was laying down, paws crossed, tail flicking to the side.
So bored today.
He seemed so far away from everyone and everything, where was everyone? Why weren't they out here? Where were all his friend, or perhaps they were busy doing something else. Darn, today seemed like it would be a boring day. Perhaps he should dream a little under the sun? No, he had to wait, train at least, do something, but he was just too...bored.

The red male had wandered from his mother again, rather she let him go this time. It saved him the time to wait for the moment to escape her eyes. His paws moved, alternating, as they carried him off where ever his mind wandered. He closed his eyes and tried to use his 'mind's eye' to navigate around.
He opened his ears, nose, and his feelings. The ground crunching quietly under his feet, the glass and leaves moving around him, and the fresh air with a faint scent. Faint Scent?
Dumu opened his eyes and looked around, there was someone around? Wait, of course there was, this was the Pride Lands, there was always someone around. The prey animals were always around in their herds, carnivoirs hunting out there. The cub looked around and continued on when the swinging tail of another was spotted.
"Hello."
He called out, approaching closer.

Inari was getting lost in thought, a daydream, he was in a battle. He was bigger, more muscles, mane grown out and fluffy, he was winning. In reality his eyes were closed and he was smiling, he loved his dreams, they were so nice to turn to sometimes.
He didn't even recognize or pay attention to the faint scent of another coming closer. He was just too lost in thought, not paying attention to anything but his victory in his dream. SO nice, so nice to be big and respected and strong.
He heard the voice, snapped him out of his dream, he turned his gaze to look upon teh red figure of another, it wasn't as bright as some of the others he had seen already. "Hello...who're you?" he asked curiously, standing up adn stretching a bit, "I'm Inari."

"Yadumugandama, Ed or Dumu, your choice."
He greeted, pulling his forelegs together, bowed, and stood straight. He chuckled inwardly at the thought he had...rather, the one Inari had. A big lion? Strong and powerful? This cub was one of the types who wanted to dominate others to test and challenge his powers against another. Or was it just a misinterpret.
"You're so wierd...."
He chuckled, sitting down a good distance from the other lion. He had his limits, ones without permissions and those with. Right now, these were his limits without it. Dumu smiled, his tail swinging behind him slowly. At least he got to meet someone this day, the first day his mother allowed him to leave with her permission.

Wow. Such a long name. "Dumu then," Inari said nodding, DUmu bowed? Interesting ways, Inari knew he would do that for Mrost whenever he would see him again, but to eachother? Well, honestly, Inari never thought of that.
"Weird?" Inari asked, tilting his head somewhat to the side. What had he done that was weird, he just said hello and stretched, strange cub, Inari sat back and looked at Dumu, he was interesting looking. Perhaps the cub was hiding something?
"Whatcha doing out here Dumu? Day of fun?" with that said Inari was almost daydreaming again, but he caught himself before doing it, it would be impolite to day dream in the company of others.

"Dumu it is."
He replied, smiling again, his silver eye glinting in the sun as the other two were closed softly. That was what most people called him anyways, the only people who actually called him Ed was his family, and that is all who should call him that. But Dumu suited him fine.
"Wierd, that is what I said."
He repeated.
"And yeah, a day of fun I guess you can call it. My Mom finally let me out on my own. At least I didn't have to sneak from her this time. She's a bit...overprotective sometimes."
He explained as he began to lick his paws, grooming them.
"Oh, and daydreaming isn't rude. It's another way to express one's imagination."
He added, eyes closed, busily cleaning his paw.

"Days of fun are nice," Inari said with a nod, watching DUmu, eyes closed, that strange thing on his forehead. Weird. But Inari went to speak, but got caught off by Dumu...how...when...he didn't...bwah? How did he know what he was thinking?!
Was it that...eye?
This was so strange, so very strange indeed. Was Dumu really reading his mind, or just guessing by how Inari looked?
Perhaps both?
"How did you know?" he asked curiously, was he like a god too, able to have certian powers. That would be interesting, he could tell Mrost about this too, but maybe not, if Dumu was making it up, but Inari wasn't sure.

Dumu sighed and opened his violet eyes again. Didn't hurt to ask.
"Inari, do you have anything to hide? A secret you want know one to know? A memory you wanted to forget? Something? If there is, I won't tell anyone, not a single soul."
He spoke, continuing to clean his paw, his eyes up at him. If there was anything the cub didn't want to be known, that was it, he was not going to press on further than that. Though, this lion was strange, why did he keep daydreaming so much? Before in a battle, and just now.
"And, I saw it on your face before I started to groom my paw. Just so you know."
He added, just to clear up anything the cub may be thinking. Unfortunately, the red lion wasn't looking up before he started to lick his paws. He closed his eyes and started, not open, close and clean. Did the cub pick it up? Heh, better or it would just be funny.

Inari watched Dumu closely, secrets? What type of secrets, oh, hmm perhaps that one would be good to keep secret. A vague silouette in Inari's mind, who he had to find, report information back too, yes, but he wouldn't say or even think the name. Inari didn't want anyone to know, not even Dumu if he could help it.
"Your eye...you can see things with it...can't you?" it made Inari curious, he wished he could do things like that. Then perhaps he could become even greater of a lion and a warrior someday. Yes, that would be nice.
"So you stay in the Pridelands too? I haven't seen you aorund yet," Inari said, almost stating it, but DUmu seemed interesting, if he could see out of that....eye, Inari wondered how he got it. From his parents perhaps?

Dumu scowled
"You know, staring is rude. I don't care anymore, I tried to be polite and ask permission if I come closer. But that is out the window now."
The red cub growled as he got up and moved closer to the other cub. His eyes were of anger, but still retained the hint of interest. What is different about this cub? What drew him to him? Was it because he was curious about what this one was daydreaming of? No matter, he was rude to him and so, to Dumu's mind, Inari lost all rights to his mind's privacy. Everything the Pride Lander asked was out the scene as well.
"We rogues do as we want! And being polite to others is something you won't see often, you were lucky I was for a while!"
He growled, pouncing at the Pride Lander.

Inari watched Dumu seem to get upset. Stare? He wasn't staring! He was asking a question referring to his eye! If anything...Dumu was staring at Inari with that other eye...all the time. "I wasn't being rude, if anything, you proding into my thoughts without my permission is rude Dumu!" Inari said with a snarl of his own.
This wasn't fun anymore.
"A rogue? That is why, I wasn't trying to be mean Dumu I was just-" Inari watched as Dumu pounced at him, Inari tried to move out of the way but Dumu landed on one of his legs and he huffed, puffing his chest out. Inari pulled away and crouched down, glaring at Dumu, "You say I'm rude and you just pounce at me?"
Inari wished his bigger friend was here, the one he had to find. Then perhaps Dumu would be nicer. But Dumu was acting strange, perhaps he wasn't used to being around other's such as himself maybe?

The instant his paws touched Inari's body, his head roared with screams. This was his power, Inari was the source, the catalyst of his abilities. Touch.
The form of a large, winged lion. Red splattered onto dark blue fur. The cold steel of the armor affixed to the body, and the scent of death.
Dumu's eyes grew wide, what was that? It was so....dark. He snapped out of it when the screams stopped. Quickly he jumped back, growling at the other cub. What did he have to do with that...that...thing!? A winged lion...
"Who...who do you know is large and blue, winged and dark. Who is it? Is he a god? Who is he? What domain does he govern?"
he shouted out. He knew of his father being the God of Loneliness, but there were others here in the Pride Lands? How many where there? Were they all that dark like the one he saw just now? What...monster was that?
Dumu's hackles raised, his lips pulled back to a snarl. This cub was unsafe, defiantly. If he was able to draw out such a dark...evil presence, this cub was not safe to be around. He was a seer, one with uncontrolled powers, but a seer never the less. His father, a God, would protect him if he needed it. But the same questioned echoed in his head over and over again, "Who was that?"

Inari watched as Dumu seemed to be in a trance for a minute, what had he seen? What had he taken from his mind? This was unfair! Inari growled at Dumu, taking a step back, "You stay away, you have no right to steal what secrets and memories are mine..." he said sharply. Feeling a pressure growing in him.
He would protect the name, with all his might and strength, physically and mentally. "He is a friend...he is strong, he helped guide me, and I have helped him find something he has been searching for, leave my secrets mine Dumu!" Inari did not think the name, did not speak the name, Dumu would never know, only know the image.
Inari growled and glared at Dumu. "Why do you do this? It's not right to steal what others hide, stay away...I'll....I'll try calling for him...for something to make you stay away I swear it!" Inari wondered if he could do that with his godly friend, or any god if he merely called for help.
He wanted to protect the name.

Dumu shook his head, he cannot stay here, he was in danger. This all started out as a friendly coversation, trying to be polite, and now a turn for the worse. There was something dark about that cub, Dumu was curious to know but feared for his safety. Whatever it was, he cannot deny that it was dangerous.
"Inari, keep him secret, I do not want to know. I fear if I did he would come for me and that would put my family at risk. You've never seen two strong lions fight where neither dies but only suffer. Keep his name, and I will keep this secret."
His posture was still an offensive one, he was still weary of that cub. Why did he want to be in leagues with such a dark presence? Why? It would seem not everyone was pure as he had thought. Athrun wasn't nor was his mother. Both of them had a dark past they tried to hide, but his powers unlocked them.
"My powers, they are not under my control. What I see is forced now, I cannot decide what to see and what not to. But no matter, I keep this secret. I expect you to keep my name secret and I will keep yours from my family and hope your 'friend' and my father never meet."
He finished before turning slightly and starting off. He had to get away, he was not safe. He could only hope Inari kept what happened between them secret, Dumu had to or else his family would be in jeopardy. He never thought he'd be the one to do it, but apparently it has had.
When he was a good distance...he ran, he ran fast. He ran home.
