Few things I might suggest:
Have ONE (1) picture for a background, that collage is painful to my eyes
Get up some links to places that have more detailed information on that kind of stuff (IGN, Nintendo.com, Kotaku)
Some wall papers (as RAPTOR said) would be pretty cool.
text that is readable over your pictures, I can barely read that it says "head shot gaming" on the front page. The bulleted list of links isn't a whole lot more readable either.
Pick a theme and run with that. I made a small website to Zelda a little while ago, the theme tehre is obviously Zelda, with a black background, green text and some pictures that helped it along...
if you TRULY have some time to waste, more in depth game reviews, or ask someone else to write up reviews for games you don't have.
I know I'm probably gonna write a review about Zelda: Twilight Princess when I finish playing through the main game. I'll be looking at renting other games as well, I might be able to help out reviewing Wii games, but no promises there.
