i'm not sure if it says anywhere anything about this. I've looked, but I'm a bit frustrated right now. I'm about to go buy a prenancy test while my boyfriend is in class. We ended up having unprotected sex on the night of the 13th of October. I should have already started my period. I ended up getting the morning after pill, and they did tell me it can make my period early or late (I believe that's what it said). My question is, if I take a pregnancy test either today or within the next couple of days if my period doesn't end up showing, will I get an accurate test this early on after having unprotected sex? I'd really really like to know, that way if it will not show yet, I won't use the pregnancy test yet and waste the money.
Btw, I'm 20, almost 21, my boyfriend is 22.
Please, I need to know. If there is another thread about this or if there is a sticky somewhere, I'm sorry if I didn't see it. Like I said, I'm very flustered right now with all that's going on in my life.
Edit: BTW, I am on birth controll pills, but why I'm worried about this is the fact I missed one of my pills this month, and the pills aren't 100% guarenteed anyway. We usually use a condom, but we got caught up in the moment in my bedroom at my parents house the night before my sis's wedding...of course I don't keep the condoms at my parents house because of the fact I never planned on doing it there. We usually wait until we are at his appartment. (He lives in Alabama and I live in Ohio).

I honestly don't know what to tell you, and the best advice I can give would be to go see a doctor and ask them what they think you should do. I haven't taken the morning after pill before and don't know a whole lot about its effects.

You can always talk to your doctor and get bloodwork done, if you want to be 100% positive that you are/are not pregnant.

i would do that, but the only thing is is that i'm on my parents insurance still, and i don't want them finding out. they woulda found out because last time i was down here and had to go into the ER for a UTI, they had issues with getting the information to my parents insurance, so my parents had to do it, ontop of having to pay about $50 of it.
i got my period on wednesday, but i'm still kinda worried because i've heard of women having a period after they are pregnant. but i do have a pregnancy test here just incase.
