hey i was wondering if anyone is in Minnesota Youth Symphonies? if you aern't (and you live near the twin cities) y0u should be!!! its the sweetest theing ever!! biggrin xd lol

Hey! A local! Awesome. Actually, I'm in GTCYS. I'm in Symphony, the top orchestra. I told myself that if I had been placed in Philharmonic again I'd audition for MYS and see what orchestra I got placed in. No need for that now. I've heard that MYS is really cool. Claudette Loreano is really, really nice. She was the conductor for Middle Level Honors Orchestra this year.
What orchestra were you placed in?

last season i was in repertory, claudette's orch. i love her!! not literally, of course. you should audition for mys this year. it is so fun!

I find GTCYS very fun, although I do not like Marlene Pauley. I don't really think I need to audition for MYS because I made it into the top orchestra of GTCYS. I have heard that MYS is a lot more competitive and as I start highschool next year I don't really need more stress than that will bring.
