Covet stared at Mecca as if he had lost his mind.
“You’re serious? Tell me you’re not serious. You want me to ride on that?” she asked, pointing to the huge, regal looking airship they were standing in front of. She had given up the faux pretense of bravery she had always tried to project whenever they had had to deal with his first love. But now he was actually expecting her to climb aboard one that was about to take off and fly thousands of feet up in the air. He was clearly insane. Looking him over, she folded her arms over her chest and gave her head a small shake. She really wanted this. They needed to get away for a while, away from Yaku and all of the craziness that he had created. But Mecca was insane if he thought she was going to be going anywhere on that ship.

“Shu die on those things,” she said, looking up at the huge beast and swallowing hard. “I’ve heard of shu falling off of them and… and…” That was it. She didn’t have any other arguments really, but that sounded like a pretty darn good one to her.

Mecca stared up at the large airship. It was beautiful, magnificent even. He couldn't wait to get up in the air and away from Ceiphei. He almost couldn't hear Covet's moaning as he watched the crew rushing about and readying her for her voyage.

Mecca rolled his eyes and held Scim tightly on his leash. The little grim seemed desperate to get on the large boat.
"Covet." He said slightly irritably. "No one is going to die. Now are you coming or am I going on my own?"

Setting her jaw stubbornly, she glared at him for a moment and then turned her glare to the ship.
"I just don't see why we have to fly," she muttered, again swallowing hard. "And you don't know that for sure," she said, narrowing her eyes slightly in a bit of defiance as she looked up at him and reached out to slip her arm through his. She could do this. It was a piece of cake. Shu did it all the time, she told herself as she took deep breaths.

Mecca looked at her and smirked. She was always such a drama queen. His smirk turning to a grin as he let go of Scims leash and watched him charge on board the ship.
Turning round to Covet he reached down and picked her up, slinging her over his shoulder fireman's style and walking up the gangplank to the deck of the ship.
Nodding to the captain with a smile he set her down and smirked.
"Right, shall we explore?"

Covet watched Scim run up onto the ship with a slight bit of envy. She half wished it was that easy for her. Only half, though.
"Uh! Mecca!" she cried out as she was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts as he slung her over his shoulder. At first she thought to struggle against him to get him to put her down, but before she knew they were walking the gangplank and she had to cover her eyes before she felt sick. They weren't that far off the ground yet, but knowing that they would soon be high up in the air terrified her. When he finally set her down, she took several deep breaths and reached out to cling to his arm with one hand and straighten her mussed hair with the other.

"That was uncalled for you know," she mumbled, glancing over towards the exit. Chewing on her lip, she stepped closer to him, clinging to him with both hands now.
"Sure," she replied, looking back up at him. "But not too close to the sides, please?" she pleaded.

Mecca shrugged.
"Uncalled for but fun." He smirked trying to priese her fingers from his coat. "Now, take my hand." He said reaching it out towards her. "We don't have to go near the edge. But it's going to be a boring journey if we stay stood in the middle."

Covet smirked at his response and forced herself to calm down and loosen her deathgrip long enough to take his hand in hers.
"I don't know about boring. Safe sounds pretty appealing to me," she smirked and whistled for Scim. "I still don't get their appeal," she said shaking her head a little. "Regular ships are just as nice. What is it about the airships that you love so much?" she asked, looking up at him.
