I think the format for the chase should be changed. For starters, instead of separating the top 10 drivers in 5 point incrimints, they should just be reset to 5000 so everyone starts on equal ground. That's how I think the "playoffs" should be in NASCAR. Is there any other changes that anyone else would like to see?

i'd like the points system to be different but i don't want them to change it cause then these last 3 years would've served no point.

Well one could argue that the last 3 years have allowed people to pick out pitfalls of the chase and think of ways to improve it but still keep the chase competative.

How about giving Chasers a point bonus if they win? It would only be available to the ten chasers, during the the last ten races.

That is an interesting idea Soultrain. It would put more emphesis on winning races in the chase instead of drivers just saving their stuff and hanging back once they get a lead.
