[Continuation from the shop.....]

Speaking before Rae had time to say anything at all, "We'll... stay," Stefan replied softly as he looked down at his younger brother before moving to sit in a chair close to the couch, but not too close. It was obvious that the feline needed his space - which was understandable. Oddly enough, even as his flaming tail touched the fabric of the chair, nothing caught on fire.
Rae turned his head and smiled genuinely, though it was small, to his brother before nodding towards the cat. "We'll stay," He repeated softly, more tenderly. Looking down towards the cloaks, he nodded, "You can have those... If you want them. They'll definately keep you warm in any weather outside... We would know." A soft smile towards the cat before he walked over and sat gingerly on his brother's lap, leaning back against him before moving onto his side, curling up into a small ball against his brother, closing his eyes for a moment.
Raecelyn and Stefan had been alone together for quite some time... every since Rae could remember - which was back when he was three and Stefan was seven. Since they were so far apart in age, they didn't have much in common, so they never saw each other as competition. Rae could remember vividly when there was a dog that would walk to the edge of it's yard and growl at him, and Stefan would move to be inbetween him and that dog, and growl back. The dog had whined and backed off.... Stefan was the only person Rae really trusted and loved. "What is your name, if you don't mind me asking?"

"M-me?" Shion's fingers had gone to the heavy cloth, and he pulled it close, wrapping his body in it as if by warming himself externally he could stop the incessant shivering that wracked his thin frame. "I'm... I'm Shion," he murmured, basking in the physical warmth as he tried to feel at ease. They seemed so... so -kind-, he wanted to trust them. "Funny how I almost forgot that before I got here."
The cat tried a smile, but his mouth wouldn't make the expression properly; it was distressing, really, but he couldn't help it. Shion curled tighter into the cloaks -- his ragged clothing didn't provide nearly enough warmth in a situation like his.

Stefan watched the feline before tearing his eyes away. Turning his head, he stared at a wall instead, gently brushing his fingers through Rae's hair. Only Rae had any clue what was going on in his mind, really, and sometimes... even that bothered him. But Stefan had to admit - to himself and to Rae - that he had it better. Rae... he couldn't touch other people that weren't his family. He was more ghostly than anything, and his hands always shot right through them leaving nothing except a horrible feel of icicles, which would cause both him and the other to shake and shiver. Poor Rae... and yet he was still willing to care about those he couldn't touch with every ounce of his soul...
Rae closed his pupilless eyes while Stefan ran fingers through his long, wavey hair. Glancing up towards his brother, a soft frown of concern formed his lips as he let out the smallest of sighs - a mere exhalation of breath - before he turned back towards Shion, "You almost forgot... That's strange. Stefan had forgotten who he was just before we got here..." Rae replied softly as he glanced towards Stefan.
He was doing it again. Looking away from anyone who Rae helped. He always did that for one reason, and one reason alone... He didn't want to get attatched. Rae cared for everyone who was in need of it, although he couldn't physically touch them - which was a shame and a bit unfair seeing as he could very well touch anything else and his brother - that made little difference to him. "How long have you been here, Shion? Stefan and I just got in today..."

Petite Kitsune "I meant it that way," Allegro said with a small chuckle, blushing at other ways it could be taken. "Of course, I haven't met many people, but I hope I'll be remedying that soon. As soon as I get the swing of this world, that is. Completely, anyway..."

Truth would come out sooner or later. A crush was a crush, right? Crushes never really got in the way of friendships. Besides, it was just the start of a crush... The precrush, he explained to himself in his head. ( Ahaha. :3 I'm caught up~ <3 )

Petite Kitsune "I've been... around," Shion murmured vaguely as his eyes closed, soaking in the comfortable warmth. He'd been here, yes, true -- but no use to anyone, a half-feral little creature that had skulked around and clung to the shadows. "... I don't remember how long, not really. The last thing I really recall is that... that place." A fine shudder went through Shion. That place... where he'd been the same as everyone else, a doll for Durer to torment -- and where the man Vallewida moaned and wept at night like some sad spirit. He shivered, chilled to the bone by it.
"... Welcome to this place, I suppose," he murmured, softly. Shion summoned a smile -- and it was one of those sunshine-bright ones, where his sweet green eyes closed and his soft mouth curved up in a tender affectionate lilt. "It's... it's better."
Stefan watched his brother, but said nothing to call him back. He knew that touch, he knew that look. Rae was going to go calm himself down by making some hot cider, which always tasted lovely, so there really were no complaints from the older demon/angel. Closing his eyes, he shook his head and thought for a few moments. Rae got upset quite often because he could touch Stefan, but he couldn't touch anyone else... Anyone that he tried to comfort or care for. That was why Stefan vowed not to love before Rae found a way to touch others.
"His cider does taste lovely... and warm..." Stefan said quietly with his eyes closed, as if trying to start up a conversation. Though really, that wasn't what his intentions were. He was simply trying to... keep some of the focus off of Rae's odd and sudden reaction.Petite Kitsune "I won't forget you," Allegro vowed, grinning. "How could I?" With a flourish, he bowed over Ryland's hand, pressing his lips to the other's knuckles with his eyes glittering impishly with amusement. "I could never forget such a lovely friend." His breath was soft and warm against the other's skin, and he smiled affectionately. "Besides... I would miss these times, with you..." He said it thoughtfully. "You're something special."
"You're something special for me, too, Allegro... More than you'll probably ever know," Ryland said softly with a smile. It was true, the only two people who treated him gently were Naruto and Tae, but this... this was different. Everything he did was gentle, kind, sweet, and tender. Allowing a wider smile to pick up the corners of his mouth, he let out a small laugh instead of a giggle, as if feeling foolish over his words.

Andie_Chan "Thank you, Shion." Rae stated softly. He watched the other curled up beneath the cloaks and smiled softly. Reaching down he touched Stefan's hand, watching his hand, waiting for something to happen... but it didn't. Nothing happened. Standing up, that light, neutral expression returned to his face as he cleared his throat, behaving strangely all of a sudden, "I'm going... to make some hot cider..." He said softly, neutrally, before he turned and walked into the kitchen rather hastily.

He wasn't used to being handled so... tenderly, well, at least not by someone he had interest in. "I-I..." Ryland started, but ended up stammering the word just a few times before he closed his eyes and laughed softly, shaking his head as he began to purr softly.
"You're something special for me, too, Allegro... More than you'll probably ever know," Ryland said softly with a smile. Petite Kitsune "I... I can't wait to taste it," Shion said, softly, his voice muffled by the cloaks as he nestled more deeply into them, watching the other slightly guardedly, but smiling anyway. "I... I used to be able to make it, but I can't remember so much now." He offered it quietly, peering down at the way the tip of his tail twitched beneath the cloth. "... I learned it from someone, I know it... that, and much more, but... but I can't remember." His sunny smile turned downcast as he sighed.
"It'll... it'll come back, eventually... I hope."
Rae walked around in the kitchen, preparing things as he had the recipe down in his head, and it was a recipe from scratch. He never intended to make hot cider. No... he made it by accident, but it soon came to be one of Stefan's favorites, so he made it quite often. As he prepared things and bustled around in the kitchen, he hoped that Shion would like it as well... and, perhaps the feline was hungry? Poking his head out of the kitchen, wearing an apron, he smiled sweetly as he pulled his hair up into a loose ponytail, "Are you hungry at all, Shion? I could make you something to eat... Just let me know what you would perfer."Petite Kitsune "I... well, I feel special," Allegro said with a grin as he looked up at Ryland with a soft, warm gaze. "It's a nice feeling... but then, it's nice to feel lucky too. And both those feelings come from you." He squeezed Ryland's hand gently with his own, long callused fingers gentle but firm.
"Also, I must confess..." Allegro said, gravely, though his eyes were bright, "that little laugh of yours makes me go all atwitter. It should be classified a lethal weapon."

Andie_Chan Stefan opened his eyes and glanced towards Shion with a very slight not, "...if you ask him... I'm sure Rae would be willing to teach you again... To help you remember." Stefan's voice was still quiet, but he was the less gentle of the two--but that didn't mean in any way, shape, or form that he was dangerous and cruel. He just wasn't as sweet and kind. More... quiet and reserved. Observant as well. "He spends a lot of time cooking... making new things in the kitchen.."

"I like... well, anything..." His stomach, reminded that it was empty, made an unhappy noise. "I haven't had anything other than bread and water for a long time."

Andie_Chan Rae nodded his head and smiled sweetly towards Shion again before he went back into the kitchen. After awhile the smell of smoked salmon was filling the air along with fried potatoes. Humming came happily from within the kitchen as the younger angel bustled about, getting things all ready. Walking out after a few long moments in the kitchen, he brought out a large plate one rather sizable piece of smoked salmon and a decent serving of fried potatoes. Handing the plate out towards Shion, he also held a mug of fresh, warm cider. Thinking about the possibility that they could touch--or rather, not touch--popped into his head and he set the plate and mug on a small table right beside where Shion sat. Turning, he happily walked back into the kitchen, turned off everything he had used, and brought out two more mugs, handing one to Stefan before he sat down in his own chair with his own mug.
Stefan looked towards his brother, and his eyes softened, but there was still no sign of a smile. Taking a small sip from his mug, he held it gingerly in his hands, allowing it to warm him up as he stared over towards Rae before turning his deep pink eyes towards Shion, nodding his head. Andie_Chan Ryland blinked and blushed a bit more, "Oh Allegro... you really do know how to turn on that charm, don't you?" He said, slightly playing, but mostly serious. "Well you are most definately special to me, and you always will be. I don't think there is any way you could change the way you make me feel," Ryland said with a little giggle. It was true, he was just that stubborn.

Petite Kitsune The salmon and the cider both looked -- and smelled -- irresistible. Shion's stomach let out a loud growl, and he looked up at Rae and Stefan with wide green eyes. "... Are you sure this is all for me...?" His voice was slightly rough, and he began to carefully wriggle his way out of the cloaks, not wanting to move too fast else it disappear. He licked his lips, his rough tongue dampening them slightly.
Sighing when his brother turned and walked on, he nodded his head and looked down towards his cider, "Yes, Rae.." He said softly. Shaking his head, he took a sip and glanced towards Shion. This was typical. Rae wanting to help someone, then wandering off to explore, putting him responsible for their personal care... He didn't offer any words to the feline, seeing as Rae pretty much said everything before he left, and he would just wait until Shion had something he wanted to talk about, rahter than being nosey.Petite Kitsune "Let's hope both of us can," Allegro murmured softly, his voice warm and vibrant, as he dropped one more small, sweet kiss on the other's knuckles. "They're such kind hands to play." He chuckled slightly at his teasing, his eyes warm, staying locked with Ryland's. He didn't consider this unfaithful to his memory, much as it might have been... he couldn't get back to Lyon. He knew that -- and with the Dawn Rune on his hand making his days long, crying out to its brother rune which was worlds away, he needed the affection to keep him from that sad longing for home.
This was home now, he thought once more, reinforcing it as he gazed at Ryland. The warmth of the cat's hand in his, and the gaze of those lantern-bright cat's eyes -- that was home.
"I can safely say, on my side, that I am growing fond of you... Though it may be bold to say, it's not me to keep things bottled in... Besides, it's better to let you know in case its unwanted," Ryland said softly. Expressing the fact he was growing a crush for the other was his only way to keep from getting hurt... again. Twice was hard enough to deal with, so it was best to openly state it instead of beating around the bush... Just to see exactly where he and Allegro stood together.
