Status: Private Posters:Xaki w/ Anubis Rapidashtrainer w/ Danae PheonixGuardianMizuki w/ Aruna Mialee w/ Delano Anubis trotted out to a field of grass, yes today was windy. He raised his head high to enjoy the breeze that flew towards him, tossing and ruffling his mane. Having just crossed a old stream, water trickling down, he thought to himself, amused. "Similar to my home, is it not?" he could hear the call of wildlife around him, especially noticing those he seemed related to, the bluejays. "Do not distract yourself, your here for fun, nothing more." His voice carried through the meadow, and he tilted his head wondering if anyone else frequented this place.

Following Anubis merrily; Danae, the self invited mare, trotted behind the stallion occasionally trying to n** at his tail as well as at...well, anything that caught her fancy at the moment.
"You can get distracted from fun?" Danae asked in a shocked tone at Anubis' remark.

"Obviously so," came the dry remark. Aruna entered the area with an exasperated look, but a friendly smile betrayed her amusement. "Anubis, Danae, long time no see," she greeted. She had been nearby when she heard their voices, and had decided to come by and have a short visit with them. "It's odd to see you away from your teepee, Anubis. I thought you didn't leave it?"
Or perhaps he did, not that she was around him often enough to know. She looked around, knowing her mate had followed her, but unsure if Delano was more into playing hide and seek with her than greeting new friends... not that it mattered. She hid a smile and whickered. "Lano! Come and meet Anubis and Danae!" She glanced around again, and then returned her attention to Anubis and Danae.

 Delano watched as Aruna greeted a pair of soquili. He had never met the two before but their colors were strikingly beaituiful. He noticed how the stallion seemed to portray the markings and coloration of the blue jays. The amre was a pretty sky blue with a darkerblue and white streaks throughout her curly mane and tail, and strange dark blue socks with white mixed in on all 4 legs. His observations were rboken by hi mate's call...and he had hoped to sneak up on her...but he would of course oblige her call for his appearance. Besides now that she was expecting him it would make surprising her hard to do. The tall, blood red stallion came loping out of the forest and flashed a grin at the newcomers. "Hello, I am Delano.. Pleased to meet you." He bowed slightly before moving to stand beside his mate.

"I'm not perfect. Everyone enjoys fun, right?" He said wearily to Danae. Jerking around, as he heard Arunas voice, his face lightened up. "One wonders what is at a tee-pee when one can meet you here." He retorted in a just as dry tone to match Arunas.
"..lano?" Anubis smirked, at the other stallion that had come out. "I see, now." he stared directly at Aruna. "And this is the one .. who said.." He coughed. "Well, My name is Anubis since you offered me the courtesy of your name." he noted the pairs closeness, with a smug smile on his face, but his eyes sparkled at the fact he remet his old friend. He was slightly alarmed at the stallions coat color but really, it was nothing new to him. He smiled wryly as he realized how both stallions would look next to each other.

"Hi Aruna, it's a pleasu-Ohmigosh!"squealed Danae (momentarily forgetting her sentence) as she cantered up to Delano with apparent foalish delight. " A unicorn! Anubis! Look! There's really a horn on his forehead! Wow!" Danae whinnied before meekly turning back towards the blue stallion and Aruna.
"I'm guessing that you are thinking that others might get the impression that I should have behaved better huh?" said Danae guiltily before letting a broad grin spread over her face. " But, gosh! This is the first time I've ever seen a unicorn!"

Aruna wasn't sure what to think of the hyper mare; Danae reminded her too much of her mother... She looked back to Anubis, and rolled her eyes with a hidden laugh. "Yes, Lano," Amazingly, Aruna found that Danae seemed to have been following Anubis around, and she eyed Anubis with a questioning look before she turned to look back at the mare. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too...?" She managed to say, just before the mare came bounding up to look at Delano.
"This is the first time you've ever seen a unicorn? Well, what do you know..." She turned with a sly smile on her mate. "You've gained yet another fan, Delano! How could you, when you have me...?" She was teasing him, really, but she couldn't help it. She was smiling because (not only was she with her mate) she had gotten to reunite with an old friend. And she still had yet to know the mare's name.

Delano nodded to the Anubis and grinned. He was always amazed at how many friends Aruna had. But he didn't mind one bit. It made life much more interesting and fun, although he wasn't sure he'd ever get to meet them all in one lifetime! There was just so many.....
It was then he was greeted by the hyperness of the mare. He chuckled softly, delighted as always when he got that sort of response. He had not been aware unicorns were considered a myth or rare in these parts. Delano bowed politely to the mare. "Pleased to meet you...." He paused...what was her name?? "Anubis's lady companion.....may I inquire your name?" He blushed purple slightly at his own lack of knowledge and silliness of his reply, but this was quickly dismissed with another chuckle. "Yes it is a real horn. Would you like to touch it?" He flashed a playful grin and turned his attention to Aruna, and playfully replied to her teasing, "Oh but no one could take your place, My golden angel." and he added a wink jsut for fun and tickled her ear with his muzzle.

Anubis returned a blank look to Aruna as if he had no idea what she was talking about. He rolled his eye at this playful affection. Ignoring Danae's hyperness, it wasnt much of a surprise to him really, after he had met with her so often. Although -- de did feel something stab at him, Why was Danae so happy to meet a unicorn? Shaking his head as if to brush it away, He returned a good natured grin to Delano and said dryly to Danae "One would know that'd you be too excited to give a proper name."
He turn his head away when for Delano, and Aruna's privacy, and then turned back around, hoping that they were finished with that sort of thing. "So is it fate that we meet again only to have you do things of that sort in front of me?" He chuckled, tossing his mane. "Or did we have some other purpose for meeting up?"

"Nah, it looks real enough to me Delano, sir...and my name's Danae. Please to meet you," replied Danae leisurely trotting back to stand beside Anubis ( and giving his mane a small n** in the process ).
" Don't be mean Anubis! One can't help it if one had never seen a unicorn before but no worries, I think blue is a better colour, " whispered Danae somewhat cheekily into Anubis's ear before innocently pulling away to greet Aruna. " Long time no see,"
((I'm not sure if it's OOC or Rp wise but I think Danae has met Aruna before. Along with Rahu and one other stallion in the soquili thread.... ))

Aruna found herself blushing furiously from Delano's teasing and Anubis's remark, but she finally calmed down enough to retort at Anubis, "And one would find that with Danae you'd be a bit kinder. It seems you both have gotten cozy... and no, I'm not meaning to do that in front of you, but he is my mate; I can't help it."
She grinned widely, almost like a predatory grin, but this was a teasing spat. She began to giggle at Delano's tickling of her ear, and finally moved away to bat at him gently with her own muzzle. "Not in front of my friends!" she whispered, though her golden eyes glinted mischieviously.
Turning to Danae, she smiled. "Yes, quite a long time no see. I didn't realize you knew Anubis!"
((They have. XD I have the RP recorded somewhere on my comp; it was through a real RP, but it started off as OOC, I think.))

Delano tilted his head curiously at Anubis. He of course knew from the stallion's tone he was only joking but why did he turn away like that. He didn't say anything yet but simply observed Anubis and Danae's reactions towards each other. He smiled when Danae spoke. "So polite and well manered. Even iif you are hyper, such a lovely well mannered personality is rare. I should know, I found that in Aruna. " He nuzzled Aruna slightly as he watched Danae's playful antics with Danae. He had caught a bit of the whispering...not all of it but he had caught blue and better. He couldn't help but wonder if the mare had a thing for this blue stallion. It was rather amusing to watch though. Delano chuckled as Aruna spoke. It seemed she had read his mind almost. "They do seem rather comfortable with each other don't they? being close and all" He spoke softly so it was almost a whisper but enough to be heard by the pair. He laughed lightly at her batting and returned a comment, "Oh?? but I thought you liked it when I did that. " He whispered back, flashing a teasing grin.

Anubis snorted. "Highly unlike I care if you like blue or not. You are blue." he turned away to Aruna's remark.
"Cozy? I assure you, its very cozy between us." Anubis remarked dryly. "Why, it might even spark a candle." he said in a droll voice. "A very small candle, a dry twig if we're lucky. But while on that, I'd think you'd start a wildfire there." His tone was suggestive, but his eyes danced with amusement.
"Lovely, well-mannered? Rare?" Anubis almost choked in laughter, behind Danae, taking care not to be heard. Why, if they knew her, he rolled his eyes.
As he kept a straight face on again, He heard Delano's remark, and chuckled. "Believe me, I can hear you Delano." he flashed a grin. "And this 'closeness' you refer to, will happen as the day and night are at the same time. Didnt I swear, i would never get a mate?" He smiled charmingly.

"Thank you Delano sir. You flatter me," replied Danae before turning to face Aruna. "I did not know Anubis...err...until quite recently," admitted Danae while smiling and flicking her tail playfully. "You might say that I've gate crashed into Anubis's privacy much to his despair but I find it rather amusing," the blue mare then said in a somewhat teasing tone.

Her mate was tickling her, and Aruna could hardly keep from giggling. "Yes, I like it, but giggling and...heheh... speaking are kind of difficult, love," she whispered, and then her gold eyes glinted sharply at Anubis's comments. "Ah... I see..." she then flushed at a certain comment, and then smirked. "Is that so? Are you covering up your emotions again?" Not that Anubis ever really had--if she knew him--but he really did seem to enjoy Danae's company, and Danae definitely proved she liked his as well. "Lovely, well-mannered... and rare?" Aruna repeated, looked up to her towering, powerful mate.
"Wait a... oh." She blushed when Delano said he'd found those things in her, and she mumbled a bit of gibberish a bit before grinning back at Danae. "So he is, Danae. But I know you like him just the same! He's great to be around if you're ever lost." She winked. "I have my own way of finding my way around now, so I won't need Anubis anymore, heheh."
