It's meant to be bright and funcky like.
I'm not sure if I like the hard brush coloring or a softer, painted look.

I think the hard brush coloring really suits the subject, in this case. It's got an attitude I really like. Not sure how I feel about the weird, stiff highlights, though.

I'm going to agree with The Iconoclast here. I think that the coloring itself is really good. It fits the subject and just looks nice. The highlighting irks me though. It looks really stiff and just.. odd.

i dont really have a problem with the harder brush highlights and i like the way they contrast with the other coloring.
They would probably look better if the highlights were placed a little more carefully, they're just sort of everywhere and maybe even too many. Just a few to define a light source would be enough and if you maybe didn't over do them, the hard brush effect would work better.

The highlights, especially in the hair and band-thing, do seem a bit over the top. But everywhere else it looks okay to me. Nice and shiny.

Is that weird? It's a little weird when you realise that is like fifty cents. True, I hadn't really thought in terms of gaia gold as money...but it is really isn't it? What with the "donation" sytem and all.

Bright yellow or white highlights could work instead of a bright blue. Not sure.
