Do you think you get better fish from going out farther into the ocean?

It could be, but I don't think so. I have caught every fish (except rares) at every part of the lake in every lake. So I doubt there are "hotspots" or special areas for fish to appear.

Hmm, I've seen people saying that the location doesn't matter...but even so, I'm a little bit inclined to believe there's 'better' locations on each lake.
At least, I have my favorite spots. And when they're taken, I get a little perturbed. wink

i don't think it matters because most of the time i fish in that area i get junk, well if i don't filter, but like on the right side where the water is deep, i've caught trout and tuna, so i don't think it matters.

Black_Phoenix06 It could be, but I don't think so. I have caught every fish (except rares) at every part of the lake in every lake. So I doubt there are "hotspots" or special areas for fish to appear. I agree with Black_Phoenix06. I have fished the same spot for instance, the default spot and have caught everything, except a rare. Also, from what I have learned through the Top Fishers and others that have caught rares, it doesn't matter where you are at the lake. It's more of bait degradation, fishing rod and skills, plus time of day that make the true difference. There isn't anything other than filtering that can make any kind of difference on what you catch.
