History:

Growing up in a small town in Maine, there never was too many opportunities for Jason to escape the rural life. his father was a tailor, and his mother a teacher. being an only child, Jason spent alot of his childhood helping out in his father's tailoring shop, learning the trade when he wasn't at school.

While Jason did show some talent in fixing, adjusting and modifying clothing, he never was very interested in the idea of being a tailor for the rest of his life, so after graduating from highschool, Jason started applying to colleges. He had done fairly well in High school, but even with some of the offered scholarships and financal aid, it just wasn't enough to get into his college of choice.

Aside from the financal burden of going to college, his parents had started to hope and expect Jason would take over his father's business, which isn't what Jason wanted for himself. His mother and father wrongly assumed that Jason felt he was 'too good' for them and thats why he wanted to go away.This train of thought caused a rift to form between Jason and his parents, what at first was small exchanges of words grew into bitter disagreements, only widening the divide between Jason and his parents.

Eventually Jason moved out, and relocating close to Boston, MA. This of course used up most of the money he had saved up to go to college to begin with, so Jason got a job and started to save up money in order to try and get into college.

In his mid twenties, Jason's hair unexpectedly started to turn grey. certainly a slight bit of a depressing surprise since it did make Jason look and feel older, this odd trait was inherited from his grandfather. While Jason didn't like this development, he felt buying and paying for hair dye to cover it up was a foolish waste of money so he let it go. His grey hair also effected his social life as well, One of his girl firends broke up with him because she felt his grey hair made -her- feel older. in another temporary relationship, a girl who was attracted to older men had started to go out with him, but it wouldn't work out, because he spent so much time devoted to work and college, and not to her.

Eventually after a few years of hard work, Jason was able to afford to go to college with scholarships, loans, and a financal aid package. He choose to go and study Psychology, and was doing well, dispite enrolling at his age, at the end of his third year of college and was inrolled in an internship at a hospital run by Feral labs when he suddenly found himself at the recieving end of an Identity theft scam (run by one of Moreau's employees) that almost left Jason broke.

While Jason was being considered as a potental subject to be sent to the island, because of the scammer's activities, these plans were accellerated, and Jason was offered free housing to continue his psychology internship at one of Feral lab's facilities while the bank straightens out the mess with Jason's financal records. At first Jason was unsure of the deal, believing it too good to be true, but after looking at his current funds, he realized he wouldn't be able to afford that month's rent. So with little choice, Jason signed himself up for the deal, and sent what he couldn't take with him into a storage unit. little did he know of the plans that had been set in motion for him on his arrival on the island....

Why would Dr.Moreau want him on the Island?
Well, the orginal plan was to have him graduate from college and become a doctorate in psychology before bringing him to the island in order to help the other islanders cope with their changes. However the identity theift scam tossed a wrench in Dr. Moreau's plans, and forced him to accelerate his timetable for bringing Jason to the island. Jason's experiance with tailoring clothing also makes him valuable since as the islanders change, clothing becomes more and more difficult to wear, and clothing is a way for people to hold onto their humanity because animals don't wear clothing right?
well, just remember, Jason isn't all that good at it
