The chalkboard read 'lashing tail', 'dropping from heights', and 'likes heat'.

It wasn't so much that the two of them were late getting to class as it was the two of them didn't want to be escorted there by Ligeia and Vorel. They were grown up now and there was no reason why they needed to be babysat! So they had spent a small amount of time running on ahead, well Baroness did the running where as he slithered as fast as his coils would take him, soon enough his older brother had given up on keeping up and they were able to back track their way to the classroom.
He slipped inside just after Baroness who sauntered in as if she owed the place, sat down, tail giving a pleased swish. It would seem that her name had started to affect her personality a little... Good, she thought to herself no other dragons or children to attempt to bother her or kiss her snakeboy. She sat back on her haunches as she turned her gaze over to the teacher, Ter looked at him next.
Both blinked and flicked out their tongues at him, Ter because he gather scent from the air and Baroness as she'd picked up the habit of doing it after spending so much time with her partner, "Ahh! Hello." He finally greeted him, giving the words a moments thought so that he could arrange them correctly and so that the words came out right. While he was talking now he was still having trouble wrapping his mind around the bigger words. To much hassle and not enough reward for learning them or pronouncing them correctly if you asked the snake boy.

Peri looked up as the two finally entered the classroom. The man closed the book he'd been looking through and stood up. Peri blinked as the two flicked their tongues out at him. Odd kids and their even odder dragons.
"Hello." Perilas answered. "I'm Mr. Coleman and we'll be discussing your dragon today. To start off, do you have any questions about your wyvern?"

Questions about his dragon? He looked over at her and she starred right back and him and he was quiet for a long moment as he tried to decide upon something that was important enough that he would ask a teacher about it. Something... something... His eyes widened and he pointed at Baroness, "Who would win? Her or a Frost Dragon?" He demaded of the teacher, he had to know that his dragon was in fact stronger and better in a fight then Vorel would be! Or if the teacher thought not prove him wrong by having Baroness challenge his brother's dragon!
The wyvern perked up the moment her partner pointed at her and gave a hissing sound, looking over at the teacher to await the answer to the question as well.
The two poisonous creatures starred at Peri awaiting his decision...

Odd question. "Well, uh... I guess it would depend on several things... Like if they were the same age or size, how much magic they knew, and a few other things..." Sweatdrop.

"Hrm... well Vorel is older." He murmured, half to himself and half to the teacher. He then looked over at Baroness. So that meant that she would have to train up herself so that she could overcome the fact that Ligeia's dragon was older? She wasn't to much smaller, she had was a venomous creature but Vorel had his icy breath...
"What your saying is it depends on their training... yes..." So that meant the two of them had to work that much harder so that they could be better then Ligeia and Vorel.
Nothing like a little sibling rivalry to get one on the right track to learning...

Vorel? That sounded familiar. One of those kids' dragons... though for the life of him, he couldn't remember it off the top of his head. "Uh, basically, yes." Peri managed to reply.

Ter gave a bright, fanged smile before he wrapped his arms around Baroness, "Great." This was definately something that could be done. That just meant that they would have to work on training up Baroness, "Need ta train Baroness, how do I do that?" It would seem aparent that the snake had a one track mind... of which was running around the singular thought of Baroness being better the Vorel...
Poor Peri...

Perilas hesitated. "Well, uh... she's a bit young still... I'll be giving classes for the older dragons for training, but..." Yeah, how to get out of this one without ticking off either poisonous creature? It would be a miracle.

"Young...?" He deflated a little as he leaned against the Wyvern, looking her over. Well he did suppose that she had just hatched but there must be something that they could train her in, something she could use to overpower and prove her awesomeness against Vorel!
"Wait, so you do training... how old? How much longer does she have to wait?"
Baroness puffed up, hissing looking quite hopeful as well. It wasn't just Ter that was eager for her to prove herself.

"Well, the classes don't start until you're at least 13 years old." It gave the dragons about five years of growth and he felt a bit apprehensive about starting earlier than that.

Ter's eyes went wide, whatwhat! That was far to much time! He would have to figure out a way to help Baroness along before those classes. Vorel and Ligeia had a head start on them! They couldn't fall behind because of the mere fact that they were born later then the other two...
"I... see." He murmured, lifting a hand to scratch at his head as he tried to figure it out... hrm... maybe just letting Baroness go at Vorel and see how far she got? He seemed as if he wouldn't fight back that hard and risk hurting someone, a pansy like Ligeia, "Yessss." He flicked his tongue out at his thought.
Baroness mimicked the flicking, tail lashing as if she knew that the snake were up to something...

Peri almost seemed to sense it as well and was more frightened than anything else. "Well, uh, did you have any other questions?" he asked, trying to steer the topic to a bit safer ground.

"Does she have a breath thing? Vorel spits icecloud things!" He said, flaring up so that his hood was open in a curious sort of way, would she have something like that? Ice? Fire? Something cooler!
Over towards the door appeared a couple of others, Vorel who seemed to puff a bit and seemed curious as he heard his name and Ligeia. The both of them had finally caught back up with the younger pair. Seeing they were still in the middle of class they stayed outside of the room and quiet.
They weren't able to stay completely from being noticed as Baroness sniffed at the air, turning when she caught the familiar scent of her 'rival' nearby.

"No, but she does have a poisonous tip on her tail, rather like a scorpion." He pointed towards Baroness' tail. "Wyverns use that in fights a lot. They'll dive from above to grab their opponent and stab at them with their tail." Peri didn't notice the presence of the other two outside the classroom.
