There wasn't much that Burgundia and Galatea had to take with them. Dee had tied a length of red material around her waist and had a few scraps of things tied in what looked to be a handkerchief, taken rucksack-style over one shoulder. Morning had not changed her - she was still jittery, frustrated, looking more ice-hard than ever. Her hair was in a ponytail high up over her head, travelling-style, and at least she seemed relieved to be going at last.
They arrived at Ice's early on, and Dee alighted down on the windowsill before beckoning Galatea over.
"I know you won't draw it out," she said.

"It will take exactly as long as it needs, Ms. Burgundia." Galatea carefully adjusted her own handkerchief ruck-sack. It was clearly heavier than Burgundia's but the juvenile held it as if it weighed nothing at all. "I cannot begin to understand what you've been through but we must do it proper or not at all." She glanced over at the older feien before tapping on the window. "Your sisters need you."

The window was actually opened halfway, as was its wont. Silva laid sprawled out and still dead to the world on the couch, with Nick and Nack sleeping against the side of it, ousted from their own bed by the taller male. Soho was curled up against Silva's chest, which would irritate the older male when he found out, but at the moment one arm was draped loosely around her waist.
Aleric was nowhere to be seen, seeing as he slept in Kisa and Jade's room.

Marne was also napping on the floor near the couch, sprawled out and apparently happy to sleep with her head on Nick's ankles, curled up fetally with the rest. She looked happy and content.
For some reason, seeing all them together seemed to affect Burgundia rather terribly; she stopped dead, then carefully set down her rucksack on the inside of the windowsill, and fluttered over to stand a little ways away from them all.

It obviously affected Galatea, too, but in an entirely different way. She stood there, blushing hotly in embarrassment. "Oh, dear," she murmured. "I did not realize they would still be asleep." Her ruck sack slipped from her fingers as she tried to lower it silently and there was an abrupt noise of metal against metal. She blushed more and looked at Burgundia in mild horror of her gaff.

One golden eye opened, a dark looking expression on Silva's face before he realized who they were. He grunted and pushed Soho off of him as he sat up, kicking the boys lightly to make them wake. "Get up, brats. We've got visitors."
A chorus of complaints came in response, then Soho caught sight of Dee. "Dee!!!" She shouted before racing to tackle her sister with love.

Burgundia closed her arms around Soho's shoulders and buried her face in her hair momentarily, a little shudder going through her, holding her little sister in a nearly suffocating embrace before letting her go a little. She then put her shoulders on Soho's shoulders to look at her more carefully.
"Yes," she said, "you look good, Ruby, real good."
"Dee?" Marne was rubbing her eyes, sitting up. "Oh, my GAAAWWD. Gal! Dee!"

"Good morning." Galatea slipped into formality, something she had not presented to Ice's little family in a long time. "I'm sorry we woke you up."

Silva raised an eyebrow, yawing largely before it could make an impact. "It's alright, I figure there's a reason for it..." He looked at them, watching as Soho hugged Dee once again before he spoke again. "What's the problem, darlins?"
"Dee, I've missed you so much!" Soho said, not bothered one ounce by the too tight hug. "So much has happened since you came by! Marne's been staying here, and Silva and Aleric's ladyfriends left, and--,"
"Soho!" Silva said a little more sharply than he meant. He toned it down. "Let them talk, darlin."

"We came to say goodbye," said Burgundia, hand still on Soho's shoulder. "We are... going. This place is choking me, Silva. I'll be damned if I stay another minute. But - it won't be forever. We will be goin' questing."
"What? All by yourselves?" Marne looked mortally wounded. "Without us? You're leaving us behind?"

"Not forever, Miss Marne." Galatea offered a faint smile. "We'll be back before you know it. We both have our own quests. Luckily, they seem to be quite close to each other."

"But... but you just came back." Soho said as all three eyes threatened to fill with tears. "We were going to have a story telling thing for Halloween and--," She sniffled, then nodded, looking away. "But if you're going to come back, then I guess it's okay. Right?"
Silva nodded, looking straight at Dee, then over at Gala. "Don't do anything stupid while you're out there, alright?"

"As though we would," said Burgundia, though Marne was still clutching Soho's shoulder and looking terribly tragic. "Rest assured, we ain't the type."

Galatea met Silva's eyes solemnly. "Never," she promised. "We will be very careful." She paused then and looked down at her knotted hands. "Mr. Silva? May I please ask you a favor? I don't want to be any trouble but," she hesitated and lifted her head, chin a firm little jut, "I believe my mind will be more focused on the tasks at hand if I know someone I respect and trust is here to take care of things I cannot."

Silva raised an eyebrow, only to bop both Nick and Nack in the head for starting to laugh. "Sure thing, darlin. If I'm able, that is." There were a lot of things he could do, but there were some s**t he didn't want to do, as well.
